Thank you so much! We have just decided to wait it out and get a new bank account to receive my salaries it!!!8217;s just a shame we don!!!8217;t don!!!8217;t have any power to sue them after all this discomfort they cause.0

Tried using the credit card first transaction went through the next was bounced back! It’s so frustrating and they don’t care what happens in the mean time.0

Well I don’t think suing is a bit far. My car insurance, road tax, house rent, bills l, feeding to take my tablets after coming out from the hospital from an operation without any explanation don’t you think that’s a bit far for them! No stop calls placed and no one is telling me anything! Stressing with pains and all!0

Lloyds would not suspend your account without very good reason. There are two sides to this story and we are only hearing it from your side. You certainly have done something to spook them.
You need to sit down quietly and think about transactions going into your account and you say you have of savings. This may be a worry to them how this money was amassed.0 -

Even if lloyds are suspecting that the op has come across the money illegeimately, they are probably taking the wrong approach to solve it. Telling her there is a "processing delay" rather than giving her some indication when it will be resolved probably exacerbates the issue at hand.
If she is given a rough time frame, she could turn to other methods of payment. Rather than being kept in the lurch (and having no idea when the suspension will be lifted).
BTW: seems lloyds have incorrectly frozen her account for something like MoneyLaundering. I've nver heard of an expecting mother to be involved in this kind of activity. Maybe purchasing a crib on your card triggers the banks security?. :rotfl:0 -
@OP: Write to your Member of Parliament (MP) as someone suggested before. He/she can contact lloyds on your behalf. Some financial institution even have a dedicated person to answer queries from MP's.
It only takes few minutes with this online tool: https://www.writetothem.com/
enter your postcode and it will find your MP. Enter the message. Ensure you complete your address, as your MP would need to see this.
Also, contact Lloyds using social media (by posting publicly). They are less likely to give you the runaround then (by making up random/duff department names).0 -
Cem2016 - we've not heard from you for 10 days.
