Your right, never thought of it like that. As soon as I asked how he was soo sure we wouldn't work out He started off with that line and then it just got more and more abusive. Jekyll and Hyde have nothing on this one. Think maybe he did this so I will give up on him once and for all.

I do too. Have a good job, own my own flat and think what's the point when you don't have anyone to share it with. I'm not an ugly monster and am fairly outgoing and funny but still end up alone.

And as others have said, consider dating agencies etc. 2 of my NCT group met their partners through a dating website, and I met DH on a blind date set up by a mutual friend!

I have gone on sites before and have had lots of interest but as I said before I wasn't really looking for a relationship (not with just him but anyone), just someone to chat to and have a laugh with.

Need to concentrate on something else instead of remembering the good things (found some old texts from him and I swear they can't have been from him) so might have to get obsessive about exercise instead and quitting smoking (just over a week now.. I really like to suffer don't I?? ha ha ):j

Exactly and then he had the cheek to say that if I had got pregnant none of this would be a problem now as he would want to stay in with the child.. So basically he doesn't love me enough to want to stay in with me and make things work but he would for his child.. Made me feel like an incubator!

:eek: sorry for the harshness but what a complete and utter self absorbed,selfish,immature git!! Thank your lucky stars you got out of that one hun you are worth sooooo much more ((((hugs))))to you. Good idea to try internet and personal ads, one of my colleagues met her hubby thru the local personal ads. kathy 206. Your right he is. I do spend a lot of time by myself already but would like to meet someone, settle down have kids etc.. In fact that guy of the car advert basically sums it up for me!

Enjoy life alone for a while, you're better off, and you don't have to play his games (sounds like you knew in your heart this wasn't going anywhere). You'll find someone when you don't look ... I've met someone lovely, and have never been happier
