Iona could you add me too, either name is fine as she knew both although we never met.

At 9pm last night, although I had lit a virtual candle, Mr N and I were at our 2nd ballroom dancing class so we couldn't have been much closer - on each other's toes you could say..........

Assessment writing up then another assessment today. Mr N and I prepared dinner together then caught up with a couple of recorded programmes on the sofa.

Iona - Can you add me and DD to the card please?

As per the list I've spent the day pottering and thinking and day dreaming plans. DD and I will do something together Sunday (between school and her going out with her dad on Saturday it'll be the first chance we get without work or homework) and I have a date with a huge mug of coffee somewhere in town tomorrow just not sure where yet. I'm taking as much of the day off as I can around a trip to the bank for work and having to make a delivery. My head is a room of doom right now and it'll do me good to switch off for a few hours.

I'm off to bed now.

    Evening everyone

Please add my name, either as Cycling knew both, to the card Iona and thank you for offering to do one. Happy to put towards and also, if you feel a tribute or donation appropriate, please let me know. Any idea when the ceremony will be held, as it would be nice to be able to sit quietly at the time.

Poor DS still can't wear long sleeves either.

To begin with I assumed this was some daft football club rule and started typing something then I realised why! He is doing well to keep doing his footie, hope the hand is sorted soon x

Hospital yesterday with DS1. We talked about him coming off one of his medications which would slightly reduce the long term risks (which are high) but could result in a flare. Things are so settled with him right now and the consultant agreed that we could wait but we will have to think about at some time.

Busy day today, both paid stuff and I have a present to drop off for nephew. We have no food in the house, everywhere is a bit messy and I must get the dog out for a decent walk.

Have a good Friday everyone x
  • Morning all,

So sorry to hear of the passing of CyclingYorkie. Although I have only just joined you all, I have been reading the thread for a couple of years and know that she is going to be sorely missed. RIP brave lady xx

Just catching up with what I have to catch up with after 3 days at the paid stuff .
First having hair cut and coloured, then will crack on.
Raining here so will leave the washing until tomorrow.

Need to plant spring bulbs at some point before work on Tuesday, and would love to get the grass cut.

Much love and hugs to all x

Bringing quota for hugs and good wishes to share out. Take as needed

Went to ds1 singing at the shed (local venue not garden one) last night, really enjoyed it.
Glossing again today, trouble is now I've decided the gloss downstairs looks shabby so I want to do that as well.

He's doing good thanks YL yes it's more that the sleeves don't fit. But he should be back to normal very soon. He's just doing gentle training, no contact at the mo. They are a nice club and have just given the boys all a good, heavy training sweater and they can bring beanie hats and anoraks. They all tend to have base layer legs in winter too.

Aww, Mrs MP that's the problem with decorating :o once you do one, the rest of it looks dull in comparison. My hallway looks very shabby next to the kitchen and LR...

I'm having a study morning today. This afternoon I need to pop up to town, and fly too.

Hi all, I'm finally feeling better, even struggled through a couple of shifts in work. Managed to keep on top of the flying, even though I couldn't manage some of the more thorough cleaning.
We had a new carpet fitted in the hallway yesterday, only took them about 20 minutes as it's a small hallway at the end of our long hallway. So resulting debris was cleared away. BF took the old carpet to work to throw in their skip, and my friend took a large off-cut of the new carpet home to make a mat with.

[STRIKE]Check your light bulbs - I don't know about you but I find, when they are on more, they all commit hari-kiri. Do you have spares?[/STRIKE] Mentioned to BF we have a bulb out in the bedroom. I'm sure he promptly forgot my request for bulbs so I will have to keep [STRIKE]nagging[/STRIKE] reminding him.
[STRIKE]While you're at it check you have a torch in a place where you can find it in the dark/by the light of your phone. [/STRIKE] My phone turns into a torch at a touch of a button. Plan something nice for the ones you love - a homemade cake or pudding; time together, a movie night, a duvet day and SIT ON THE FLYLADY SOFA because one of our much-loved flyladies can't, not any more. Make time for those you love. Time is fleeting, and precious. Spent some time gossiping with my bestie yesterday, then BF came home early from work so we all had a laugh together. I'm off all weekend, so will suggest a movie under the duvet with BF tomorrow after our trip into town.

It was a pleasure to 'know' you Jenny. Much love from us all.
