Just having an early dinner before football training. We made our cakes, well, they are just cooling on a rack, maybe the littlies will have chocolate fudge cake for supper

Jabbed in the arm earlier but doesn't feel achey as you'd expect. Was a bit of a stinger going in though

Just going to pop upstairs for a cotton bud as DS has just asked me to "undirt" his ears :rotfl:

Iona honey, could you please add me to the card. I have literally only just seen the FB post and really can't believe she has gone. I suppose part of me was convincing myself that she would get through it and we would have our CY back... sadly life isn't like that is it. I am shocked to the bone, really can't believe it.

I'm sorry I haven't been on here but there's been a few things going on at therapy, one of them a death..so that has hit me hard.

Hugs to everyone, CY will be remembered with fond memories. Raises a glass to Toots, Diva and CY. A new star is in the night sky this week...

I too have just seen the sad news of our beloved CY's departure for the Summerlands (Ionafan I've pm'd you). The sofa will seem very empty without her cheering us all on. I'm totally gutted; like Natty I'd hoped and hoped she'd lick the dratted thing and come back to us, hale and hearty.
Virtual candle lit (thanks for the link Hex); a real one will be lit in the Wolves' Lair a little later.

I've done a little shop for my parents.

2xwm dried outside. Wardrobe baskets sorted and bed protectors washed.
Took car for a spring clean. Treated myself as shoulder is poorly.

Cuddled up on sofa with cat, DH, DS2 and a cuppa. Will send DS1 a message.

Please add me to the card Iona. I remember fondly reading about the build up to the wedding; she was so excited and so looking forward to it. I was so pleased she was able to really enjoy it. Memories for the Yorkie family to treasure.

As far as I'm concerned, all friends of CY on this thread are entitled to add their name to the card if they wish; but nobody should feel that it is expected of them, if they'd rather not do so.

Was proper brass monkeys at football tonight. We move up to the (floodlit) school pitch next week. One of the mums is going to see if there is a tea urn, I said I'd happily bring supplies to keep us all warm. Poor DS still can't wear long sleeves either... Will need to do a rethink for next week of what he can wear (and me n DD!!!). Week after should be pot-free!

They had choc fudge cake and milk for supper. DD went to bed in a fleece onesie and I've turned the heating up. Brrr.
