Morning ladies.
Still feeling very sad this morning and a bit tearful. Hoping Jenny's family can feel the flylady love.
Just going to mooch about tidying today.
Hugs xxx0 -
Morning,
Just caught up with the thread, what terrible sad news, I think the list today is perfect and it made me cry. I'll be thinking of her today, and her family.
Hugs to everyone xxx0 -
Iona - Thank you for letting us know. I'll be lighting a candle for her tonight. Sending love and our condolences to her family.
RIP cycling yorkie. You'll be greatly missed.Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Just pottering today, in the office / den. I've got a magnetic white board so I've had the drill out and fixed it to the wall. Kiddies have missed rearranging fridge magnets since we had the new kitchen, there's nothing for them to stick to. And I've missed having a notice board.
I've got ingredients for choc brownies so going to make those with the babes after school.
Think I'll have a cuppa on the flylady sofa if anyone fancies one?

I'll join you on the sofa bossy, I've finished glossing now apart from the attic hatch and surround-that's a job for tomorrow. I'm going to ask Dh to take the hatch door out so I can do it in comfort instead of being under it on a stool as it will need sanding, undercoating and three coats of gloss. It's currently in dark treacle varnish like the airing cupboard door was.SPC~12 ot 124

I'll join you on the sofa you two, just having lunch.
Been at it all morning, despite the list. Given every room a good once over, plus done yesterday's bathroom list. I'm on my own at the mo, so I'm thinking the best way to spend some quality time with my lovely family is to make sure I don't have to be doing other stuff (ie clean) when they get home. I'm taking the girls swimming after school, then we are meeting up with OH for tea somewhere.
My step-mum-in-law (if you can work that out) is having a knee replacement today, so we may be visiting later if she is up to it. Xx0 -
I shall sending a sympathy card to CY's family. If anyone would like their name added to it, please let me know. If you want me to use your RL name rather than your Flylady name (or both), it would probably be best to PM me.
DH :A is hoovering today. I have S&S'd the kitchen, bathroom and ensuite.
We are off to the surgery for our flu jabs this afternoon, and are going out together properly tomorrow. I am tired after a busy day with DGS3+4 yesterday and may take a snooze later while DH goes to see someone at the railway. I certainly haven't got the energy for any high level brainwork.
Catch up later x0 -
Could you add my name please Iona (you know my RL name as well so whatever you think appropriate). I'll happily contribute to card postage etc.
Just back from work, think ds1 is singing tonight so we may go and support him while having a glass of something.
Going to start the wm up as its turned into a nice day here weatherwise.SPC~12 ot 124

Kelpie's been to the vet for his second cartrophen jab which for the first time didn't bother him at all. And the lovely vet jabbed him in the car, so he didn't get the opportunity to pee in the surgery, as is his usual wont.
Diaries done with OH so we both know when the other one needs the dinged car and we've planned to spend a bit more time doing things together, bits for black pudding and mushroom risotto sorted so OH can cook us supper (yessssssss), shopping done (Smith's seem to be flogging off a lot of £20 hardbacks for £5 or £6 so that's sorted some presents for a certain time of year), and a bit more gardening to be done before I set about making some pear and apricot chutney.
Yesterday's two loads of washing and the latest patchwork quilt have been blowing on the line so they should be dry by now so I can get them in and do any ironing needed. The temperature has dropped noticeably in the last 24 hours.Better is good enough.0 -
Afternoon all. Paid stuff slowing down for the day now. Took a break earlier to meet up with some friends for a cuppa. Only flying was cleaning the inside of the windows in the LR this morning.
Iona, please add my RL name to the card, and thank you.
Poppet has training tonight so must feed the dogs soon and walk LittleyDog.Spend less now, work less later.0
