We have daffodil bulbs; "why have you bought so many onions, mum?" :rotfl:

Also picked up some more "elbow grease" and currently have DS school tee soaking in some <rollseyes>

Had a browse in the pet shop and saw some piggies. Aww. I know they we for the kiddies really, but I'm looking forward to getting them myself :) we are planning hutches and runs and any little hidey holes they might like.

Just going to sort the dinner stuff out and get the kids ready for bed. Then I'll flick the heating on and we'll watch the dancing in an hour... :D

Evening all. Since my last post I have:

    Done the ironing
    Done a big shop
    Got my hair cut
Walked the dogs (well, carried Poppet)

Just having pr1ngles for tea as life is just too short not to, and will then settle down with the paper and maybe some telly.

    See you all tomorrow.

Ah I love Guinea Pigs Bossy, so cute.

Tough bike ride this aft, didnt enjoy it as much as usual, think I have just done a bit too much this week. Still it was good to get out.

Food shopping done, lots of washing done and dried, saw my parents for a bit. I really should do a bit of paid stuff tomorrow but its my turn to take DS to footie. We will see.
  • I have been a member here for years but very rarely comment - so sad to hear the news of CY but if any of her friends were coming to say a final farewell my home in York will be open for a cuppa, a rest or a bed if needed.

    Hi lovely peeps :D
Thank you Bossymoo, Lamewolf, mrs-money and dancemum.......wow dancemum - what an awesome memory you have! Thanks for your kind words lovely ladies x We will find out more on Monday .... I feel we are in for some big battles ahead of us but we will fight them together as a family x

Well I haven't done anything tonight and I feel slightly bad about that but I have been chatting to a couple of good friends instead and I don't regret that at all. Now deciding whether to gather my strength, get some sleep and rise early in the morning - or just crack on through the night lol! Hmm ...the first is probably most sensible.
Looking forward to getting stuck in with Flylady and feeling surrounded by the warmth of this group again <3
Thank you for such a lovely welcome :) xx

Am planning to get out in the garden today.

    Oh yikes, Jazee :(

We're hoping to be out in the garden too. Need to pop out for bedding plants first, but the kiddies are going to help. Hmm. Lol.

Trying to get a stain out of DS school shirt - no idea what it is which doesn't help. I've tried vanish, bleach, elbow grease, stain buster and although it's faded a little it's still too noticeable for my liking. It's not an expensive logo one so I'll ditch it if this last treatment doesn't work. But that leaves only one where the sleeve fits over his pot :o

We've all done our homework and school stuff is all clean / organised so today is really about the pottering :)

Have a lovely Sunday, all xxx

  • Morning all :)

WM is doing its thing, I put the kitchen to bed last night so it was all gleaming when I came down this morning :)

Not a lot planned for today other than some batch cooking, an hour volunteering this morning and playing with the kiddies when they get home later from their sleepover. May start a new book if I get chance.

    Have lovely days all xx
