Huskyrunner - up until recently i thought nothing of spending 30-40 sometimes more a week on Lush kitchen orders. Its addictive. Im having to think before i order now because of problems with my job but its definitely addictive, made me happy though so it was worth it. Some people spend that on cigarettes, alchohol, meals out etc. Depends whether you can afford it i think. I was never in debt, never had meals out, didnt drink, smoke etc so it was my thing that made me happy. Baths help with my pain levels which is how i originally got into using lush products.

Can so relate to this! Even the pain and baths bit and definitely the spending on products rather than fags or going out. I'm not in debt (apart from student loan) but I want to save so trying to cut down.

    An unexpected in.

Attended a craft fair with my stall today and ending up talking to a lady who does Forever Living. Just got chatting about the products and she gave me two samples of the toothpaste. Luckily I don't buy too many toothpastes so not too bad.

I was in this group some years back but drifted away when I moved and things have got worse and worse and I seem to be hoarding hundreds of toiletries and using few. I won't have time to write out the list of all my stock until Christmas, but will promise not to buy any more and note all the UU's as I go. Looking at all my drawers and boxes of items, I think I must be expecting a siege but I guess I will beat inflation!

  • Morning everyone

Couple more cheeky UUs this morning.

Original Source tea tree daily shower scrub 250ml - wnba didn't like the smell of this and not scrubby enough.
Boots sensitive mouthwash 500ml - wmba did the job and no sensitivity felt whilst using. (This only had a couple of rinses left, so why did I not use up in the first place:wall:)

    Thanks everyone.

OH got the job so things are looking up!

No sign of baby yet so I'm trying to think of things to do to distract myself from going crazy about it!

I don't think I'll have anymore UUs before tomorrow but I do have a few things that are near the end so I should have some to report at the beginning of November.

I took advantage of the Boots event on Thursday and managed to get £36 worth of points! The best part was I hardly spent any of my own money as I was picking up presents on behalf of my mum and aunt so I'm delighted. I think I now have enough points to keep the baby in nappies for the first 6 months of it's life.
    #27 £2016 in 2016 = £763.61

    #42 £2 Savers Club = £160

*Savers Club not included in overall 2016 savings until the tin is opened and my estimates have been confirmed later in the year.
