Ahh thankyou
im not exactly sure what is covered on our insurance, i will ask mum to find out what exactly she signed up for. All i know is we have only just taken it out as only just moved, and getting insurance for this house was a nightmare due to a flood that happened 9 years ago which previous owners claimed for the damage. we had directline for old house but they refused to cover us for this one. Im not sure who we are with but ill try and find out.
I have a uu tonight as i finished another pot of hair mask id had at old house but hadnt finished, this one still smelled fine.
Avon naturals grapefruit & passion fruit hair treatment mask- WBA i really like the smell of this. It does an ok job but better suited to summer use when my hair isnt so parched as it is in winter.
Im feeling so meh at the moment. Normally id be excited for christmas but i just cant be bothered with the thought of it this year. I think im mentally exhausted from the recent events and i dont feel settled here yet. Im really pining for my old life and i desperately miss the normality of my job, the residents and the people i worked with. Im still in shock at having done 5 years there and suddenly not be going in for shifts. Im terrified at the thought of being unemployed as i hate it and it makes me feel so useless. The whole stress of finding another job. I feel like ive lost my whole identity and im not me anymore. Would give anything to go back to my job. It really feels like im in the middle of a horrible nightmare, i just wish i could wake up and everything be back to how it was and normal again :-/ going to see GP tomorrow to read her letter back to them as she wants me to see both the letter from my employer to her and her response before its sent back. I really hope she can help me with this, shes my last hope.
I am however proud of myself for resisting ordering phoenix risings today from lush. I got up at 8 to get them then thought actually i have 3 left, they arent fresh but do i really need anymore currently. I decided that as im not working currently the money would be better in my account. So i resisted. Even though i adore phoenix risings. Im so proud because im a kitchen addict at heart. Circumstances just mean i need to be sensible and think before i order.
Sending you a virtual hug. Things will get better and easier. Take it a day at a time it's no wonder you feel low at the moment with everything that's going on. Eventually one way or another this will pass. Is it at all possible to do a days volunteering to get you out and about and meeting people and maybe improving confidence and taking your mind of things? Well done for resisting the order too.
I have a UU - teeny sample of Clarins gentle foaming cleanser. WMB I quite liked this! Considering its foaming it feels more like a cream cleanser out of the bottle. Skin didn't feel right after, however does have Shea butter in and not sure if this would congest my skin. Probably aimed at older and drier skins (labelled as for sensitive and dry).0 -
One UU to declare - the Champneys Citrus Blush Body Butter WBA - or better still, would receive it as a gift as I did last time! Smells gorgeous, sinks is well and leaves your skin feeling lovely.
I've now gone on to an "Along Came Betty" tub - this is a tip-off of S&G by the look of it - and was also a gift. It's nice enough but it's a lotion, and lotions in tubs irritate me - SOOOO messy. Thankfully it's a small tub, so hopefully won't take long to blast through!
2 unexpected small ins - a Body Shop lip balm and a little tube of BS handcream - gift from a friend.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

A UU for me at the end of the month, a long term bottle so very pleased - Boots Tea tree and witch hazel shine control moisturiser. I've been using it on and off for nearly 3 yrs! Wouldn't buy again anytime soon as I have lots of moisturisers but it was an ok one. Good for days when I have spots (which is often)."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0

Resisted ordering from lush kitchen again today, really wanted sparklers but then thought moneys going to be tight until this job situation resolves, plus i have a ton of lush bombs. So i sat on my hands. Im learning i can resist and its not the end of the world if i dont order, which is the good thing to come out of all of this.
I have a couple of UUs:
Lush heavenly bodies buttercream sample - WMBA as full size (already bought the full size before i used sample) this smelled a bit like chocolate orange but it did take ages to rub in and form a bit of lather. I needed quite a lot. It did leave me soft but i was disappointed the scent left behind wasnt stronger and i didnt feel clean after id used it. Still nice enough but for daily use i think i prefer my shower gels.
Sure cotton dry roll on deodorant- WBA this smelled very fresh and did the job well. Replaced with a mitchum one.
Avon naturals cherry blossom hair refresher spray- WBA i liked the scent and this did the job well.
If anyones wanting a beauty advent calendar, i saw some in aldi last night. £19.99 i think they were.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

I think you should consider yourself lucky re: your oh's spending habits. Some of us ladies on this thread would, in the past, think nothing of spending 3-4 times that a week on all manner of toiletries.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
