and just for you pigpen
Oh Borderlakland, he is the spitting image of our very first rat (Bubble), His favorite trick was to hang off of our dogs nose by his teeth:eek: .
We also got his brother (Squeak), who was pure white and loved to jump from the sofa, onto my shoulder when I was sitting in the middle of the floor. (boy can they jump!!).
Well so far today, I have managed to rescue the LR from the little ones toys:rolleyes:

I have just put my first item in the turbo lister - it took so long, please tell me it gets easier. May only get two things listed today now but it is a start and I can hopefully do one a day next week to make my 5 a week.
DS3 has his first really woobly tooth. He just tried to eat an apple and it started to bleed. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Just having a quick 5 mins to myself and catching up on everyones news!
Mum is going away on holiday today so I cooked a roast lunch for us all. OH has taken her to the airport and the kids are all outside having races down the slope to the back door :j
WM has been on so much that there is only 1 laundry bin that is 1/2 full:T - just don't ask about the ironing basket(s)!!
Playroom is now in use again :j although I have 4 smallish tubs left to sort through - if the missing bits aren't in there then I have more stuff to fling...
Most of the other jobs I have left to do can't be done until little people are in bed or OH gets back so I might just have to go and see if I can spot any Christmas fabric on ebay - like I don't have enough projects on the go :rotfl:
I have managed to :
keep the kitchen tidy - even though it was a full lunch!
clean the mirror in the hall - as cute as the little hand prints were...
omg I know I have done more than that :rotfl:
oh yeah - I sorted through all ds1 room and put his toys where they belong - no wonder I blocked that one from memory!
Vanilla - hope you manage to find the missing bit that will let you get your machine fixed - there is nothing worse than a broken WM...0 -
lol wobbly teeth are so exciting!!!
dd1 has been going to great lengths not to lose one of her top ones (everytime I put an apple in her lunchbox it came home with a tale that she "couldn't" eat it incase her tooth came out!) - it has been sooo wobbly for ages. Anyway today she let her guard down - when she took a bite out of her yorkshire pud - out it came!!!
Tooth fairy might be busy tonight by the sounds of it!0 -

as you asked so nicely. I actually thought about doing that, and then thought I might get away with it as they are still little babies and if none of you knew that I had rats you might not have known that's what they were.Debts: Mum £3923 0% APR0 -

Hi chatty lot, I didn't expect 6 pages to catch up on since yesterday morning! Reading it makes me feel like I do when I find out I've missed a really good night out. That's a compliment to you by the way..
I had a good weekend eventually, I stuck to my guns about doing things I wanted to do ad everything seemed to fall into place nicely so I needn't have got myself worked up. I've done all my social calls for at least a month now so I can concentrate on other things.
I don't know where to start in the house this evening so I'm not going to bother.
Update on my date/non date.. he was out with my brother last night and the word is he's interested. Not sure that I am though and maybe long overdue flattery is clouding my judgement.. hmm, could be awkward.
Anyhow, looking forward to next week's thread and I hope not to fall at the first like I did last week. One debt v 100 days Part 14 £400/£400

 Just been to Zizzi to find out where my wages are from the trial shift I did on 28th August, and the so-called manager tried to fob me off telling me it was hard to put someone on the payroll when they only worked 5 hours - they've had 3 weeks now! How hard can it be?!!! I've done temp work before and they got me on the payroll within a week! She tried to give me a £20 note claiming this is what I was owed after tax - wrong!! and totally illegal as there was no evidence of the tax in the form of a payslip. Now I haven't reached my taxable allowance for the year yet, and there is no way I'm not going to claim tax back if I've overpaid. I told her that they have had 3 weeks, which is what she promised me, and she said if I want a payslip that it will take longer! I told her that if it is not sorted by the end of the week that I'd be taking legal action! They will have had a month by then. Have taken head office's number so that I can call them too tomorrow.
