Vanilla, speaking from experience with family fund, I would say apply for the other grant for the cooker, washer etc first, you would wait probably a lot longer to hear from family fund, my first one took 4 months. Then keep the family fund one for things they say no to and things you would like.
Since last post made boys dinner, they were too busy playing and were doing so nicely so I just left them to it, DP came back just after 7pm so made his dinner then, sorted dogs, yet to do washing up etc as he's not long since gone back to work (and I sat in front of the tele instead) have filled a bag to be flung but not done a to keep one yet, might do the bathroom in a mo as I am going to run myself a bath to soak in, will do washing up first as not doing it after I am all clean.
DP has angered me a little, buying things on ebay again when we're supposed to be saving. I think we need a little chat next week as I said his car needed new tyres and he said 'Can't afford them yet' they aren't illegal but getting close. Anyway then he buys something for £30 on ebay and spends £59 on tyres for his RC cars!!! That would have paid for tyres for the real car! Sorry, I'm moaning again but it's annoyed me.
Right, washing up then bath! I need some relax time I think!
(Michelle are you out there somewhere? Or have the kids eaten you up already :rotfl:)One day I might be more organised...........

Evening everyone.
Don't think i have posted at all this week, but have been trying to read when i can and have finally caught up today.
It's been a busy week as i have done parents evening, spent time talking to sis on phone as she has been ill and may have thyroid problems. Oh, and developed horrible morning sickness - i was even sick at work so the cat will be out of the bag very soon i would think as that will be hard to hide.
DH is away tonight, so i had to feed the cats and wash up, and make the bottles. Also brought the bin in and recycling stuff. Made him take the compost out before he left though as my stomach is somersaulting at the slightest thing.
Managed to persuade DS to go to bed an hour early this evening, so that is where i will be heading in a minute as he will now get up really early.
Plan is to try to fly over the weekend as i have done nothing all week. Will do what i can but i am accepting that it won't be as much as needed unless i feel tonnes better.
Hugs all round. hope poorly littlies and biggies feel better soon, and that other problems start to seem more manageable.
Michelle, x0 -
Ok just spent i dunno how many hours on ebay and have put in 19 items have loads more tomorrow but can't face it tonight.
All kiddies in bed since 7pm which is good all fast asleep.
Lil_me i think i will do that as i'll probably be turned down for alot on the community care grant. My OH didn't eat his chicken dinner yesterday as he said he was full, then an hour later he's away to KFC and we're broke. Don't know what he be's thinking.Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -
I was worried about you michelle so had checked to make sure you'd posted somewhere, hope you're being careful about doing litter tray aswell. ((hugs)) hope the morning sickness eases off a little over the weekend so you are feeling better. I remember being ill with it when pregnant with DS2 and DS1 would be stood next to me putting his head where I was throwing up so spent half my time trying to move him and miss him :rotfl: he used to mimic me.
Water not hot, looks like got a while before I can wash up and have a bath!
DPs just had a young kid, about 15 throw up in the taxi who's been out drinking in town, have said I will leave washing machine empty to just throw seat covers in (once he's hosed them off) if he leaves them on the floor in the kitchen again I'll slap him!One day I might be more organised...........

 Little drunk girl now in bother, seems she's only just turned 15, her mate gave DP her address when they first got in the taxi then changed their minds to where they were going. So when driving past there he's popped in to inform her Dad, partly because he was annoyed with her for throwing up in the cab but I also think he was worried as she was incapable of even walking alone, he's seen a lot in many states and said she'll probably end up in A&E by the end of the night
Suppose might learn not to do it again if she faces consequences rather than hiding at a friends houses. I called him a 'grass' said she'll hate him for it, I got the response of 'tough I just cleaned his brats sick up so he can deal with his daughter, she might not do it again' :rotfl:
Dusty :rotfl: hope the wine helps you sleep....we'll try to keep the noise down in the morning:rotfl:
Right, water hot, yay, bath time!!! Might not reappear til morning so night night allOne day I might be more organised...........
