Tiamai, i have a form here for family fund. Only heard about it through this web site, have it 2 weeks now and haven't filled it in yet:rolleyes: first time so am nervous and don't know what to ask for??? I know what i need and boy is it a long list :rotfl:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Doesn't matter what you ask for on the form, they go over it with you during the interview. She kept asking me if I wanted a tumble dryer, silly me had listened to hubby who said there is no room, so I said no.. Damn how i regret that!

Fill in the form asap s it takes quite a while for them to get back to you.

Family Fund- Usually they will grant about 3 items at the most on first application depending on cost, put in for what you need the most, electrical items are good as they deliver them etc aswell but after that (you can apply yearly but takes longer than that because you wait ages for a decision) they will usually choose one thing that you request to offer.

Did age expectancy, oh that made me feel better, NOT!!! I have 17300 days left to live so best start planning them now :rotfl:Real age 26.5 which isn't too bad as I'm 29
One day I might be more organised...........

Problem is that i was told it could take 5 months before you would recieve anything from family fund and my washing machine is just about to go, keep finding fibreglass in the washing (from the rubber ring). Cooker has one ring gone and if oven is on then 2 rings won't work:confused: . I was thinking of a community care grant as it would take 6 weeks at most to get an answer.

My age is 8.7 and have 23800 days to live. Average life expectancy...74 and life expectancy is 90.3

  • Ha ha, my age is 27.9 which I suppose isn't bad for a 42 year old smoker and I'll live 'til I'm 89.1

Hello, no flying done for a couple of days I might manage a half hour challenge this evening though. Just thought I'd pop in to let you know I wasn't carted off by my date/not date yesterday. Had a good laugh and natter but no sparks flew.
It's been a tiring week one way or another and I'm being railroaded into all sorts of things this week end when all I want to do is veg and catch up. Time to put my foot down to some of the emotional blackmaillers.

Kiddie sin bed, dishes done, house in not too bad a state, I'm pretty happy.

Have a bit of a headache thats been here since I went to asda, so I have a big glass of juice, taken some painkillers, hubby will be home at about 8.30pm. May sit till 8pm and mop the floor then put some dinner on for us.

Have a huge portion of mince that I am going to batch cook into 2 meals... maybe lasange and... dunno... no proper tatties for cottage pie (baby pots and big bakers) ah, just cook it off with onion and mushers and freeze it then it can be anything.
