I have some lovely fabric which noone wants to buy so I'm going to make it into cushion covers and sell those instead.. or I may donate them to charity shop as a 'christmas gift' .. actually I wonder what colour my grans new suite is!! Christmas gift you know!!!

pack ups.. done them.. didn't have much to go in them really.. must buy something for tomorrow!
Vacuum front room.. Henry is upstairs and I can't carry him down.. is that a good excuse? It will have to wait.. I NEED my bed!!

Tinselfairy thinking of you and hope you got on ok this afternoon x

I have finished all my chores. DS3 wanted to go to his lesson and did really well. He says he wants me to book for the next block of 12 so I hope he stays keen. DS2 jumped off the top board for the first time and was really pleased with himself.

I have been popping vast quantites of corn for the PTA cake sale tomorrow. I love the smell and sound of the popping and it always reminds me of a pingu book we have.

Will do my list for tomorrow next - another day short on time so it will be amended accordingly!

    Hiya everyone
Afraid i've not caught up on all the thread as worked all day and didn't get in from college until 9.45. Did a massive vaccuum today as we still don't have a proper floor down and the dust bunnies were getting seriously bad. I managed to vaccuum up the equivalent of two dogs and a cat I think.

Good news (I think) - at the moment my sons op can go ahead next week as his cough isn't too bad. I really need this one to go well so I can reprogramme my mind that things involving my son and hospitals can go well. So far he's managed 5 infections from 6 operations so I have a bit of a problem taking him. I've got antibacterial wipes and i'll clean his room whilst he's in theatre. The nurses are used to me now and are fine about me doing this as the rooms have always been filthy up till now.

On a good note - i'm loving the aromatherapy course. There's only a few of us on it and we're getting on really well. I even got a massage tonight which is great.

Sadly I found out a friend is in intensive care today. I'm sending lots of positive thoughts but her husband says it's serious. I've done what she'd want me to do....opened a bottle of wine and am having a large glass and thinking of her.

Right, i'll try and catch up with this thread now xx

So today DS goes to school until 12, 3 hours to get some jobs done, but I must get petrol first as I realised last night the red light is flashing:o. This means a trip to Mr Ts as I've got a voucher for 5p off a litre so I'll probably nip in there at the same time.

Serena glad your mum's getting better.

LJD1 pleased your son's cough won't stop him from going in for his op - you know we'll all be here thinking about you when he goes in. Sorry to hear about your friend - I'll be sending positive thoughts her way.

Tinselfairy how did you go on yesterday? Hope everything's okay.

Vanilla pleased to hear you DH's been discharged - Happy Belated Anniversary!

Dustykitten my DD did well on her swimming lesson last night as well - must have been the night for it.

    :hello: Katie T

Sorry if I've missed anyone. Hope everyone's okay today and hugs to anyone who needs them.

    Catch you all later

Didn't post this morning because I knew if I did I'd come home and do absolutely nothing and have to report that I'd done nothing AGAIN!

Instead, I've come home and done a small amount:

    Kitchen/Entry floors cleaned!
    Kitchen surfaces wiped.
All 'bits and pieces' on kitchen bench have either found a home, or the rubbish bin
    Started to update finances
Todays washing in, folded, and put on top of yesterdays washing!
Put MY washing from yesterday and today away :)
    Got mail ready to post

Dinner is in the oven and smells lovely!

No work tomorrow so will hopefully get a bit more done around here.

Next two weeks are holidays for the boys so I won't be working as many hours as usual. I'm hoping to get a bit of deep cleaning done during that time.

    Morning all

Just wanted to drop by and say hello to all the flyers. I worked all weekend in Cardiff and have been busy at home since I've got back....well not busy at home, out with lots of appointments. Set the alarm for 5am this morning but have only just woken up and have a mountain of paperwork to tackle!

Will try to catch up properly in the week.
