    Hi everyone,

I've just caught up with the posts. Very busy day today, managed to fit in some paid work am, before going to hospital for the afternoon. Mother being transferred to neuro rehab ward today, which is excellent news - although she won't recover, it may give her a little more quality of life.

Very tired this evening, and no flying done today. But firmly resolved to get some work done tomorrow! I have to do the weekly shopping, and also clean the boys' bedroom. DS2 has German exhange guest for the next week, and although the boys have done an excellent job of tidying, it still needs cleaning!

    Big hugs to Lil_me.

Thankyou so much to all of you for your support, I can't tell you how much it helps!

  • Evening everyone

Busy week for me but I am checking in to see your list Pigpen......

I only have the time between dropping the littlies at school/playschool and then picking ds up from playschool before I start work so about 2 hours. Sounds like plenty of time but I never seem to get much done...... I have to sort dinner out, put some washing in and hopefully hang it out, load/unload DW, do a bit of swishing and as much of the list as I can before I leave at 11.30am. I'm not back until 8pm-ish so I'm too shattered to do much then.

So, here's how I've done so far this week.....

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    [strike]Clean floors[/strike]
    Level Two
    [strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Wipe dining table.. and check the underside.. (clean table cloth if necessary) [/strike]
    Level Three
[strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round[/strike]
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
[strike]Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week[/strike]
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • [strike]Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms[/strike]Put WM's/DW's on a 'clean' cycle.. make sure those doorseals and filters are clear.. soda crystals and white vinegar get rid of unpleasant smells and germs.. I usually put a cap full of bleach in mine too.30 minutes ironing!!! After last weeks challenge you should be pretty much atop of this!!
Tuesday Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Level 1
    [strike]Vacuum floors and sofas [/strike]
    Level 2
[strike]Dusting, even if around everything [/strike]
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
[strike]Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets[/strike]
    Level 3
[strike]Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc [/strike]
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing in preparation for cold weather!! See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house!
    Extra Mission:
