I know I have problems but I've just been to see a friend of mine who nearly died earlier this year from Stephen Johnson Syndrome - she had a reaction to an antibiotic which left her with no skin and in a coma for 8 weeks, the Doctors didn't expect her to pull through. But she has and she's home with her 2 DS' and her boyfriend has moved in with her and is her carer. She has virtually lost her eyesight and it may never return. There is still a long way to go before to can return to something like normal.
I could have cried when I was with her. It makes my problems seem so insignificant  yet I know we all suffer in various ways at times.
Life's strange isn't it?
Sorry to be so depressingChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Not depressing love. Makes you happy about what you do have - your gorgeous little kiddies and you're all healthy and together.
How's it going? Are you bearing up? We're panicking about next week, as we have to leave the house we live in, but at least we have family and mates that will put us up, and thanks to the [STRIKE]crazy[/STRIKE] kind people who use Ebay we have enough money for self storage for a few weeks in an emergency.
You've done really well, be proud of yourself. Depression or not, you've been stronger than a lot of people would have been. You rock. We're all here if you need somewhere to let off steam love. This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Hi OSH,
Not doing too bad thanks. Think thats because y'days meeting Homeless Advisor was reasonable and she opened up to me about her job!!! Also, the fact that I've sent off emails and letters to various councillors etc makes me feel like something more positive is happening.
Kids staying at their friends tonight and going to school disco so I'm going over to italian-tony's for a meal and a night away from the packing boxes :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -
Sorry OSH, also meant to say Good Luck for next week and let me know how you get on won't you? :TChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0

You deserve it!! Packing - urgh, I know how that feels! OH seems to think the magic box fairies do it, and DD (only 2 and a half) helps by putting random things in boxes and bringing them to me, then taking them away again and emptying them all over the floor. 'Packing like you Mummy!' Hard not to laugh.
At least you're doing something, not sitting on your butt. I'm sure the council will come to their senses, especially if an MP gets hold of it.This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

Never mind us love, we've the offer of FIL's place to stop, and other friends in the area have offered, so no sweat here, just don't know where we'll be, but know we'll be somewhere. More worried about you! This year I'm getting organised once and for all, and going to buy a house with my wonderful other half. And that' s final!

DD started packing the house up before me!!! I was shattered from the stress of court last week and she came home from school and started putting packing boxes together and filling them :rotfl: BUT then she started getting up early in the morning (unheard of!!!) and wanting to pack things before she went school  Do you get the feeling she wants out of here sooner rather than later :rolleyes:Christians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0
