    Morning all,

Meant to say that the Gazette have already got me diaried for a phone call after the appeal so lets hope that the December 19th issue will hold a good news story on our behalf - if not then the fight goes on - publicly:mad: .

When I went to get the paper yesterday the headline on the newspaper stand thingy outside was our story! This will be the same at all newsagents around the area - DD and I were horrified! I know it needs to be this way but I can't help feeling that people are looking at me thinking 'there's that woman from the paper who's homeless'! Ah well, have already been through so much that I shouldn't worry about the 'fame'

Slept for 7 hours straight through give or take a few minutes which for me, at the moment, is amazing!

Only if you are the only "local" story....the usual form is to pick out half a dozen headline-stories & print up the sheets, then distribute them equally around the area, so as to give an idea of what's inside.
  • I still can't use the Your say or read what others have said ... Guess they are still updating or are busy ... whatever .... I'll try again later

I keep checking too - its beginning to drive me nuts:doh:

Rang school this morning to let them know of the article and to ask if they would watch out for any problems that the twins might encounter - school were very good. They have been very supportive through all of this and I am so pleased that I found this school for the twins.

  • The migrain has lingered and I have run out of Imigran; that's a trip to the Doc's to pick up a prescription. Was woken at 2am to a crash from downstairs. Crept down, torch in hand ready to cudgel any intruders to find my lounge curtain rail had collapsed! That is my DIY task for today & here's me with five thumbs on each hand, DIY definitely not my forte'. I'm more the creative type; a dab hand with the iron though! Tried to check postings on the Gazette site but it still hasn't been updated.
BTW Bringmeshoes, I've pm'd you about writing plays etc. I had one of my plays performed at the local theatre. MOT will tell you if it was any good, I don't like to boast  .
Thanks to all that have written emails, letters and made phone calls. You are absolutely the most wonderful members of the human race. I find it hard to believe the amazing support of you all. This has been going on so long now that I had expected most of you would have got bored with it all and absconded to threads anew. Mille grazie.

Just had a phone call from BBC Three Counties Radio they have asked me if I will be available tomorrow morning just after 7am for a radio interview! So get tuned in folks on the internet and listen if you like!

Also immediately after putting the phone down to them I received a call from Fisher Meredith Solicitors who were querying the NowMedical report and the lack of follow up on the LA's behalf to obtain a psychiatric report. She said she will make arrangements for me to see a Psychiatrist and have the report ready for the appeal - she is also going to write to LA asking for an extension of the appeal date and also for the eviction date for leaving the flat:T . She said she has received her own 'bundle' of notes from the Council but there is no report in there from my previous GP despite my asking HLO for a copy (heard nothing from HLO when I emailed for a copy) so I will ring old GP and double check that this has been sent through and ask for a copy for myself so that I can see what has been written and also send solicitor a copy.

Yes thank you so much SF for introducing me to FM! 20th sounds like it could be good, twins will be at school but I'm sure I-T would love the chance to have a coffee and a natter!

MOT, I read your story, and I am very hopeful of some good news.

My geography is terrible, is Hemel Hempstead in London, why not contact the BBC, they are looking for a story and this may just help your case. Heres the link to the BBC website http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/3035310.stm.

    Hope IT feels better soon.

    Thinking of all of you.
