    Meant to say that there seems to be a discrepancy with the NowMedical report too - must dig it out of my file and post the wording on here for your opinions but please bear with me as slightly kn**kered:rotfl:

    p.s - off thread - if ANYONE can resolve this, three huzzahs at least!
    Since this morning, my page on this thread and some forums has become 2.75 screens wide.
    It is utterly infuriating and difficult to work with, especially as i have a dodgy(but clean) mouse.
    Have tried the solution - F5/refresh, clear browsing history(much during this last fortnight!)proposed on techie Board, but any further suggestions would be marvellous.
    Thankyou - please forgive digression, mot.

    Its all your fault!

    By sticking that picture in your post at #1226, you widened the screen for everyone! Once that post isn't on the current page, the screen should sort itself out.

  • Hi MOT and all. Cup of tea anyone??? Sorry I havent been on for a while, had to find a VERY BIG kettle to accomodate every1. (Ampersand - the flapjacks are in the oven).
    I am exhausted reading the last 2 days posts. I must admit that I feel a glimmer of hope that things are beginning to tilt in MOTs favour. The sacking of Mr Mclaren (didnt he look thrilled on the news last night!!!) giving DS the England job - note to DS - this does not mean your mam has to wash the strips!!!
    Im only here for a brief visit so will catch up with all you wonderful people tomorrow,

    And I've been trying all sorts of things with 'screensizing' :rolleyes: :rotfl:
    Wondered why I couldn't get to the quote/thanks buttons. :confused:

    Sweet dreams all - I think we all feel a slight unwind this evening after mot's DS-trained RE-SULT.

    Point is, if I keep on a bit more(learning that i am responsible for it)I will get us all to bottom of page and back to normal size.
    So, have decided to forgo Ecclesiastes K and give y'all this from Judith Wright, an Australian poet:
    Woman to Child.
    You who were darkness warmed my flesh
    where out of darkness rose the seed.
    Then all a world I made in me;
    all the world you can hear and see
    hung upon my dreaming blood.
    #
    There moved the multitudinous stars;
    and coloured birds and fishes moved.
    There swam the sliding continents.
    All time lay rolled in me, and sense,
    and love that knew not its beloved.
    #
    O node and focus of the world;
    I hold you deep within that well
    you shall escape and not escape-
    that mirrors still your sleeping shape;
    that nurtures still your crescent cell.
    #
    I wither and you break from me;
    Yet though you dance in living light
    I am the earth, I am the root,
    I am the stem that fed the fruit,
    the link that joins you to the night.

    Sorry ampersand, but you made me laugh.
    Easy ways of dealing with the page width problem:

    Edit your post - copy the text to word/notepad that you want to keep and delete the webpage headers that you inadvertantly pasted in. Hope fully this should resize the post (for future use ;))

    If you have a dodgy mouse (i got a cheap laser one and it's brill), there are a few tricks you can use.
    to move about the screen click on the page so that it has "the focus" and use your arrow keys.

    Glad to see things are beginning to take a more positive note here MOT. Really hope your people come out all guns blazing - just to add to the story once the papers get hold of it.

    (Knowing my luck, this will probably be put on a new page and people will be wondering what i'm going on about :rolleyes: )
