Well good evening one and all!
This is ATB checking in; for some reason MSE signed me out on the iPad and I couldn't remember my password so here I am under a new username!
It has been an age since I posted on here. As I said in my previous post, we lost a very close family member last year. That has taken an awful lot of sadness, negativity and upset, but (touch wood) things are on the up.
The estate etc hasn't been finalised, lots of negative stuff going on with thatpeople being generally rotten, it's so sad to see when money comes into the picture people are so greedy.
Anyway, I am not going to dwell on that. We have some money to come in time to come and it will be lovely when it does arrive. Until then, we have decided to resume our overpayment journey and I thought I might resurrect this diary to keep myself on track, hope you don't mind
I am now working full time and love it. It's a very demanding role but rewarding too. The children are growing up quickly. DH still runs his own business, there are some changes afoot in that regard which will increase our income in time to come as well which is exciting.
Our balance today is £89,984.48 - my mini goal is to be in the 70s by year end.
I hope you'll have me back :money::beer:0 -
:wave:Welcome back,
I actually just came across your name the other night, and wondered if it was you, but was so tired, wondered if I had been dreaming it :rotfl:
I was usually told when you lose someone close to . . . just watch them all come out of the woodwork now !!!sometimes it seems to take forever to finalise things.
Great mini-goal (actually, fantastic goal to me) but it is nice to have a focus. Hope you are enjoying your job now. (I'm actually thinking of reducing my hours) but we'll see.
Not sure how that "op" got to the heading, and don't know how to get rid of it . . .Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030 :eek: Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Fantastic goal ....raising a glass to cheer you onMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!0
