    Good Afternoon all :)

An absolutely chuffed-to-blinking-bits ATB checking in to report that
    WE ARE IN FIVE FIGURES
    :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

    For those interested:

    - Balance as at 1.1.18 - £114,630.20
    - Balance as at 1.5.18 - £99,980.45
    - Total paid off in 2018 so far: £14,649.75 :j:j

We are absolutely delighted, and have stuck to our "we will not wobble mantra" (and believe me, I have been wobbly these past few days!)

Our original goal for this year was to be at £90k by year end. This is still very much the plan, and I have written to the Halifax asking them to clarify if our 10% OP allowance has restarted as a consequence of us moving on to a new fixed rate deal.

TTs and ebay will be the main source of OPs for now. I want to keep our savings at a decent level, so more money will be channelled into those for a while.

Phew, I am on an emotional rollercoaster. Some pretty rubbishy things happening in RL, which only time can resolve, which feels strange against the euphoric high for getting into five figures.

In the meantime, I will maintain focus and keep thinking of the positives. As I wisely heard yesterday - "don't complain. Either accept, change or leave the situation. All other paths lead to madness"
    MFW :)

Treat yourselves and celebrate. Its a significant milestone, but make sure you celebrate it quickly as i know your attention will already be turning to the sub 90k potential dates!!
