Hugs good wishes and posi vibes for all who need/want them
    Have a lovely birthday Valli:bdaycake::coffee:
Remembering times table song vibes for master bossy
    Car selling vibes for ATB
Welcome to meekie and any new flyers

Dh has got a course at work so won't be home for lunch and I've just got dinner item shift so should hopefully get lots done.
Ds1 has an important gig tonight - a promoter from a record label is coming to watch him and if it goes well there is a possibility he may get signed to a label. I'd love some non snapping vibes for his guitar strings please as he's had a few go recently so we had to nip out with him yesterday and buy a couple of new sets. He was doing support at a local pub on Saturday night (after mils meal) and got a lovely text Sunday from someone who'd seen him play:T

Right better go and wage war on the kitchen I suppose.

I have also downloaded the instructions for the car booster seat that DS1 has passed on to us, took the covers off and put them in soak.

    Morning all

Thanks for the list Natty, I'm in of sorts.

I'm not going to take part in the deep cleaning challenge this week. I want to spend this quiet work week catching up on all the admin I never seem to get done. I have a pile of paperwork still needing to be scanned/shredded, and an archive box of papers for work which need dealing with as well as setting up my planner for that so I can stay organised in the run up to Christmas when it gets really busy.

    Valli - Happy Birthday!!!

MrsM - You've just reminded me that DD needs a new violin string, I knew there was something lol! That's either a walk to a music shop which is only open certain times, or a trip to town to the big music shop where we usually get all her supplies as they never seem to be shut....a job for her dad at the weekend I think ;) Non-snapping string vibes for your DS and I hope it goes well for him :)

Weather is horrible here. We're supposed to be having heavy rain until about 6pm so I'm not planning on going anywhere until this evening and then it's only to Mr A as I have a voucher which expires today so I'm going to pick up a couple of bits ;) I would have done it yesterday but the store was busy and I was tired so I just wanted to get home rather than try and dig out the voucher I'd misplaced in my purse.

I've spent the morning so far doing pottering little bits at my desk. Cash juggled so I have as few coins as possible in my purse, coins bagged up ready to go to the bank, utube subscriptions caught up with while I did this weeks spread in my planner and made a rather large to do list for the week. I best get on with the dailies as despite getting stuff out last night, DD still ended up running late so I've got to make her bed etc today as well.

Monday Musings ~ Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One...
    Clean floors
    Level Two...
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Three...
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Extra Mission ~ Choose one or more of:
    • One load of washing
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Clear and wipe the tops of the wall units!!
    • Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
    • 30 minutes ironing. - Not today, I want to get the laundry done before I tackle this as there's only 4 items in the pile
Going to write this up into my planner and then get moving. I'd like to have something to show for today when DD gets home other than hardly any milk from all the hot drinks :rotfl:
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

:DBother - I am back from sis's with a top missing. Must've dropped it under something so missed it when I scanned the room.

have unpacked. And opened cards:D and gifts

Hoping our lovely CY and my sis both get some strength from somewhere very, very soon.

I've just undercoated the metal edges on the wardrobe doors do I'm going to grab a cuppa and gave a quick chat to my mum now, feels like ages since I've spoken to her.

Will do a HHC in the kitchen once I've done that and finish it after work.

Hope your top turns up Valli

  • Happy birthday Valli. I hope you have a lovely, lovely day.

And thank you for last week's list, and Natty for this week's. I'll do Level 1 again, and see if I can do one of the Deep Cleaning tasks as well, but not today. I'm shattered after a weekend away, and I've got the superking to turn around, plus a shower room that needs degrotting before the new lodger arrives this arvo. And it defo isn't a day for doing laundry here - the forecast is rain for 12 hours solid. Still, it means I don't have the water the tree I've adopted down the road, so that's one job I can cross off my To Do List.

*car selling vibes* heading your way, ATB. I'm with you about pasta when OH is away - so much simpler.
    Better is good enough.
  • Morning all. Had a whiz thru the list this morning. Had a run too which was planned, but I surprised myself by actually doing and not calling off.
Going to jump in the shower now, then cook up some chili for lunch/tea (my lunch, BF's tea when he gets home) and will marinate some chicken for tomorrows curry.
