Surely an immoral woman would be more fun though.0 -
You are asking for advice so some poor unsuspecting landlord may have a tenant like you?
Pay the debt. I'm glad you are worrying about it and so you should.0 -
What should you do?
Grow up
Find a moral compass
Pay your debts0 -

I doubt you'll post back here anyway as nobody is telling you what you want to hear ie. "It's cheeky but they'll never catch you".
I am just wondering what amends you are making now, if not paying this debt?0 -
All the above with bells on.
Karma will sort you out.0 -
You've got a bad credit rating, regardless of that debt, you'll struggle to find somewhere to rent. That's what happens, you think you can put your failings behind because it suits you, but clearly no landlord wants to take on a tenant who is at risk of not paying them, so your failure to manage your budget means that you are now paying the consequences.
Doesn't mean you won't be able to rent ever, but you will find it much more difficult to do so. Your best bet is to see if your parents will act as guarantor, but even then, you might have to accept that all that will be available to you are rental places that others don't want so supply is low and the landlord will have to settle for less security.0 -
There's always Gumtree, surely two wrongs make a right and you will find a lovely land lord there"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Your former landlord has 7 years to take you to court over the debt so you're not out the woods yet. Who knows if the landlord tried looking for you, is still trying to track you down or has just chalked this up to experience?0

I'm shocked nobody asked if their deposit was protected or a gas safety check was done to use as blackmail to get out of paying the debt.0

Also, I'd love to know where you can rent a house on your own (albeit a small one) for around £300 per month! And no address filled out when you first rented it? No credit check or guarantor? Very hard to believe, especially as through an agency. JxPaid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
