Thanks for the post - Just emptied the shelves in East Kilbride Retail Park Boots - they did re-stock them later though so worth popping up for a look, I took 3 pamper me gift set at £14.99 to the till and asked the assistant to check the price, she said they were that price, i insisted she double check by putting them all through, she moaned a bit but did and the total was £7.49. The have chcharged 3 x 14.99, then took off the 14.99 for buy two get 1 free, then reduced them to half price - hooray - enough baby presents now for the next year... Big Thank you again and ps got the triple point and 500 extra points tooNo Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

sorry - done three transactions, each with about 9 products so have saved over £100, plus with all my extra points, bought my husband after shave (with free shower gel) for fathers day. Worth checking though your points the assistant told me you wouldn't get the 500 extra as i didn't pay over £25 - but she was surprised when i did.No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:

Hi
Just wanted to say thank you very much to whoever found this gem.
I got 2 pamper sets and an aroma bear on tuesday and couldn't resist going back for more today (Glasgow Sauchiehall st - loads left)
so bought 3 more pamper sets and 3 more bears. Also got some V reduced NEwtons Law sets for my baby which were lovely - A wee overnight bag 3.75 from 15.00 Snow globe soap 67p, wash bag 1.62 and got over 2500 points. The staff were brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful - one even went away and got me a mag with the extra 10% off
I tried the toothbrushes but obviously doing the wrong ones as they were 3 for 2, but still 9.99 each. I'll go and investigate the shop but dont drop boots bit to get more info.
Thanks again :j:j Saving Money Is Gemme!:j0 -
the toothbrushes are oral b advance 900, the plug in rechargeables. they normally cost £18-20. i bought some yesterday with my points, i know they'd have been cheaper if i'd paid cash and used the 10% voucher and got triple points but i'd already spent too much cash that week and had a load of points i wanted to use. they came up at 3 for 999 points because the half price offer takes three lots of 10.00 off, then the 3 for 2 takes the full 19.99 off for the third item. it's possible that the manager in your store knows how to fix the tills to stop this happening, i don't know, some offers do seem to vary from store to store. sorry you didn't get yours. sorry i'm off the topic of little me again!!
my 8 year old has taken the little me aroma bear to bed again tonight (without oil, he hates the dill smell), it's such a cute bear, it has a lovely little face and is so, well, bear-like!! my sis has got them for her kids, aged 5 and 7. they're not just for babies :-)52% tight0 -
The toothbrushes I got the other day included the Incredibles d9/900 type with 1 minute timer.I also got a purple one and a pink one of the Bright variety. Both sets of 3 came up for £7.97.
hope this helps with your shopping.0 -
went into boots teesside park earlier this week and the offer was not working however, went in last night to chance it again and it worked!!!! so ended up with 6 sets might take one of the bears to bed myself...either that or a bottle of wine to helpme sleep0

Brilliant find, many thanks to the op! :T
Just a thought, if you took back some gift sets for a refund but instead of taking back 3 @ £14.99 you took back 2 @ £14.99 & 1 at £9.99 for example, what would the till do?
After all, you had to buy 3 items at the same value in order to get the extra reductions in addition to the 3 for 2 otherwise you literally got 3 for 2 & nothing else extra. I'm now wondering if the till would automatically refund £29.98 for the most expensive 2 out of the 3 for 2 offer & issue no refund for the cheapest as is normally the case on 3 for 2 refunds. Havent been brave enough to try this yet, but am tempted ( would have to conveniently forget my boots card though, lol!)

Think I might have misunderstood about mixed items & pricing (have only bought the £14.99 & £9.99 sets in 3's without mixing prices) so ignore any bimbo moment I may be having, however I am curious still regarding mixed price refunds & what other people have experienced upon trying this)0
