Little Me offer still working for me. Did 2x Little Me offers, and one on the Oral B toothbrushes (thanks for that!). Got a funny look at the till, but it was worth it!0

i only got single points on the transactions for the 9.99 gift sets, triple points on the ones for the £14.99 sets. i left a few on the shelf, i've had 9 gift sets now, my sis has had 6, i think that's greedy enough
a couple have gone to the charity shop, a couple will be given to the school summer fayre, i'm not completely greedy. today using the 10% voucher the £14.99 gift sets came up at £5.98 for three and 660 points given (and a grooming voucher), the machine has stopped doing the total spend vouchers. the three £9.99 gift sets come up at £3.98 but only single points and no £3 voucher given. i used my voucher to buy something costing £3.50 and instead of paying the extra 50p i was cheeky and used a 10% voucher first, paying only 15p
by the way there is a general thread about all boots bargains started by martin in 'shop but don't drop', does this link work? http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=29342 so details of toothbrush bargains can be posted there if we want this thread to keep to the topic of little me. just for the record i was told today that no you can't buy a gift card with points, and that it doesn't very by till operator, she said they can't physically do it, something to do with it being the same machine?52% tight0 -
i tried that today, assuming they'd think i spent 9.98, so i bought a carton of ribena at 69p too, it still didn't work! the receipt says the sets are £9.24, maybe i need to be spending 76p to make them think i've spent ten? i've stopped buying now, just counted and realised i haven't bought 12 sets for myself, i actually bought 21  no wonder i'm skint!! i bought the toothbrushes with my points, i got 6 of them, hubby has a mate interested in buying one from me :-)52% tight0

One of my bestest friends had a baby yesterday so I nipped to Boots in Chester (Broughton) and bought 9 gift sets with a shelf price of £102.
Three Receipts
£4.98 (539 Points)
£7.48 (678 Points)
£6.48 (539 Points)
I am effectively out of pocket £1.38 and I will be in good books forever.0 -
Went into Boots today and brought 2 x Little Me pamper gift and 1 x Little Me Aroma Bear (£14.99 each) and cost me altogether £7.48. Sorry buy cant tell you about points as i havent got a card at the moment as i lost mine and awaiting a replacement. Im a bit worried though as i do tell them at the till i would like my receipt done so that when i get me card i can have the points added on but when i look at my receipt it doesnt have anything about how many points earned, just a validation code.
Anyway, just thought you would all be interested in the bargains i got today. Near the till was lots of reduced stuff which included the following:-
Simpsons Shower Radio Gift Set (Shower radio and body wash) was £15 now £3.37
No 17 Cd Make Up Compact (has blushers, eyeshadow etc in a silver zip cd holder) was £15 now £2.25
Rituals Bathroom Set (Very posh looking smelly set with soap bar, shower foam, cream bath and body mitt with ginseng, peony, mandarin and mint) was £18 now £4.20.
Rituals Travel Kit (3 pc set, shampoo, scrub gel and bodymilk) was £7 now £2.10
On the way in i found laying on the floor a £3 grooming voucher so used that to get some fcuk spray.
I also got another voucher for spending over £10 so will get another spray when i go in there.
As i say i have no idea about my points though.
I was going to get the toothbrushes too as i see them in there but didnt dare try it in case it didnt work. May go back tomorrow and get them.
I dont know about anyone else but its quite addictive this boots thing. Its only in the last few months ive really started to shop there.0 -
i need to set up a direct debit to boots - the amount im spending there atm
went again today to meadowhall branch and cleared their shelves of the aromatherapy bears and the wash set (we will use all the ducks and sponges - you can never have enough esp at that low price, got 1000 points in both spends as well
i would have got more but i got waylaid by Dave Prowse doing autographs and photos in whsmiths and i couldnt concentrate properly to get the best deals :-]See the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0
