Oh, that was the other thing I wanted to ask - sometimes when you see a clearance item it says for example £5 AFTER the 50% off, but when you go to the checkout it takes even more off your bill - does anyone know which of these that is, save me having to plough through them all?

So if you buy a gift card with points, you effectively earn points on points, which is normally not allowed.

    Anyone fancy trying this scenario?
Buy a £5 gift card with points, get 3 £9.99 gift sets for £4.98, earn 539 points, buy a £5 gift card with the points .....

Wonder how quickly Boots would put a stop to that!!

Race you all to Boots ....

what a fab idea lol! you'd get more than 539 points now, triple points have started so it would be around 600 points i think. you could also use a total spend voucher from the machine if it offers you one, and the 10% off voucher if you can find one.

right, i'm off to boots to try this out, i want toothbrushes anyhow. somebody has posted about this offer (with link to this site) on the bounty forum for july mums, i logged in last night to post about it but somebody had beaten me to it, so all those july mums will be rushing to boots today to get lovely goodies for their babies :-) i am considering emptying the shelves at my boots, they had 9 gift sets left, and using the sets as raffle prizes or selling them at the school summer fayre. the staff did say nobody else in my store was taking advantage of the offer, so i may as well before they change the tills!

    Excellent!

    I think I need a lie down.

Another question, while my items are in the basket, can someone else get to the checkout before me and get to the last of the clearance before I pay for the stuff? I don't know if to carry on spending or pay for the items?

To whoever asked about this many pages ago: yes the Little Me promotion is still working today (worked for me this morning anyway).icon10.gif

And I don't want to sound horrible, but how about we keep this thread about the Little Me promotion and all the other Boots-related comments could go on the Boots Bargains thread on Shop Don't Drop? icon11.gif

(Just a thoughticon7.gif.... otherwise people wanting info on Little Me have to go through pages of other stuff, which might be a bit confusing for someicon11.gif)

Little Me worked for (little) me too.

Wasn't allowed to buy a gift card with my points though - must try to find a teenager on the tills!
