after this fab find i had a great shop yesterday having gone into town to use my skincare vouchers before they expired. today i was sent to do the same for my sis on her card and it was triple points (only on the ordinary points - 53 points for the shop, and extra 107 points because it was triple points, then the 500 points for the baby promotion). i also used the 10% voucher so she got 3 of the 14.99 sets for £5.98 with 660 points and was also given a £3 male grooming voucher! i also got her 3 of the 9.99 sets at £3.98, can't remember how many points but more than 600 total i think but she didn't get the £3 voucher on that promotion. used the £3 voucher to buy botanics for men, they have anti perspirant, shave gel etc. at under £3 so they are free with the voucher.

yesterday though i was also using a voucher from the machine for 50 points of spending over £7.50, today on sis's card it was 150 points for spending over £20, i thought that was a better deal but it didn't work ... sob! obviuosly the till doesn't think she spent £20. if she uses my card tomorrow i think she'll get the 50 points voucher and if it works she'll get a total of 710 points and a £3 voucher for spending just £5.98 on the 14.99 gift sets. those aroma bears are sooooo cute! even my 8 year old wanted one (and they're cheaper than free, so i got him one). sis has got them for her boys too, they're not babies either.

i thought it was time i stopped spending, i have loads of points on my card but i don't shop in boots too often as it's more expensive than other shops, so i thought enough was enough. then i saw FCUK gift sets at half price, and there are some birthdays coming up. i decided to buy 2 of the £3.50 sets, and thought it best to get 3 of the 14.99 little me gift sets for £5.98, get 660 points and a £3 voucher then use my points for the FCUK gift sets rather than just spending £7 on the gift sets. marked at £3.50 they went through at 175 points each then a save reducing the 2nd one to half price so i got the pair of gift sets for 262 points! good old boots :-)

the shop assistants were very impressed, they said i'm the only person buying the sets, nobody else seems to know about the offer. they're listed as 3 for 2 but nothing else. i don't know how long there will be sets on the shelves now though because with it being triple points the shop assistants realised there was a profit to be made whether you want the gift sets or not, and one said she would give the gift sets to the charity shop and just do it to make a points profit. i was so pleased with yesterdays free shop that i gave one of my sets to the charity shop yesterday, and also bought the big issue outside boots :D hubby thinks i should go back tomorrow and see if there are any left, clear the shelves and give the gift sets to the school summer fete. i wouldn't want to deprive any fellow MSE'ers though :D

i bought one of those last week, oooh i'm hopping now, i missed out there lol! so we can get 3 of them for around £8? even cheaper with the 10% off vouchers in the mag, and possibly a total spend voucher from the machine, then triple points and a £3 voucher.

and here was me thinking i'd stay at home tomorrow and not go into boots ... hmmm .... thanks :D

Yes...3 for £7.98.I did 2 lots of 3 and the offer came up both times.I got The incredibles one and the Bright pink type and Bright purple type.I used my 10% voucher but it didnt seem to take it of the toothbrushes only the hair care set.I think you could probably get away with using a Total spend voucher butI hadnt quite got the nerve to do it in case they queried the price.!Ive got 6 now for xmas pressies for my nieces.

I bought (with money) 3 FCUK gift sets yesterday but unfortunately although I asked them to check they weren't on BOGOF - so Jellyhead you did very well there. I'm tempted to try again (with points)! Is this becoming an obsession?!!!!

Talking about getting points with points, I was thinking that it makes me kind of nervous to have £130 worth of points on my boots card. Its like carrying that ammount of cash with me all the time which I would never do. SO I was thinking about buying boots gift vouchers with them so I could leave them at home (im saving points for xmas). I wonder if then I could get points when I use the vouchers? I assume so. Does anyone know if you can't buy vouchers with boots points?

I asked this at my local store and the woman said it was best to put it onto a gift card (as it was a gift *cough*) and then the person spending it could also collect the points :)
