Boots in Blackburn still have the offer on. Got 3 x 3 sets, two with the extra £1 off using the voucher from the magazine. So, £90 worth of goods for just under £13 and over £16 worth of points too :D The young lads on the tills were amazed and wanted to have a look in their break. I did leave a bit of stuff for someone else, cos I'm nice like that :D

Thanks to the OP. I've not done a big Boots hit in a while as I've had so much stuff to use up and no money to do it with anyway. However, I do have pregnant friends, so these will be very useful. And anyway, it felt rather good again, as I wandered out of Boots, laden with goodies, knowing they'd paid me to take them.
  • Must be having a bad day. I'm normally on top of the offers on the high street but I don't understand this one. Do you have to spend a certain amount to get the things so cheap?? When I went in Boots earlier I picked up 3 Little Me items on the Buy 2 Get 1 - and I got exactly that!! I know I'm stupid so please - simple answers  I'm going to a couple of big Boots tomorrow so if I can get my brain round it - great. Someone out there - HELP!!!

I think its the sets rather than the individual items, these are £9.99 and £14.99. Best thing to do is take them back and start again - will they let you take toiletries back? You will only get the extra 500 points when you buy the sets.

Went to Romford (Brewery) today and they still had loads left!! Still on BOGOF and half price but they've labelled the boxes now with the reduced price so they won't last long!! Sales assistant was a bit concerned when the total came up so she went away to check with her manager but came back and said it was fine!! :)

We've now got enough baby toiletries to last us for ages!! :):)

I think I've messed the computer up. The machine was giving me extra points for a £10 spend but I think because I've just had one really big spend plus the Little Me promotion toady it was a £25 spend... oh dear!

Mine's only offering me 200pt for £25 spend vouchers as well! Over-use of it, I reckon - oops!
Mind you, got myself a new card, in my married name, to see if it gave me better offers - it hardly offers me anything at all! Maybe if I use it to "activate" it, things will improve...

Thats an idea, wonder if I can get a card in my old surname and change my age so I am in a different catergory... wonder if the offers will change LOL

Didn't think about changing my age details... If I made myself younger, they might think I'm a poor student and make my total spend vouchers a bit more realistic (spend £25 in one go? in actual money? I don't think so)

It only works on certain (not all) gift sets - check back to near the beginning of this thread for a link to a page which shows which ones.
The offer works best if you get 3x £9.99 (original price) gift sets - then you pay approx £4.98 for the 3, and get 500 points back.
If you do 3x £14.99 gift sets you pay £7.50 or so in total for the 3, and 500 points.
If you do 3x £6.99 gift sets you pay £3.50 total, but no extra points.
It's better to get 3 the same price rather than mixing & matching as that actually works out more expensive (ie buy 1x£14.99 1x£9.99 1x£6.99, pay £8.98+500 points by my calculations).
There is of course the risk that Boots could cancel this "offer" at any minute, or that it just doesn't work in your Boots for some reason, or you get a sales assistant who's having none of it, but hey - that's half the buzz!

LOL :rotfl: I think we all know what you mean! :D

BTW, seeing that this offer made it to Martin's Money Tips, I don't think it will last long now
