I bought 1 x £14.99 set and 2 x £9.99 sets the other day but the total to pay was £12.48 (with the 500 extra points). I was a bit "put out" by this so I got my hubby to take them back yesterday as he works near a big Boots.

When I checked the refund receipt last night they'd credited our account wtih £24.98 (1 x £14.99 and 1 x £9.99 as on 3 for 2). The assistant also asked my hubby for his Advantage Card but when he said he didn't have one she said "oh never mind".

went to boots at Teeside park last night defo just 3 for 2 now when i paid the shop assistant had a rather smug look on her face!!!
anyway i get them normal for my little one so just thanked her an walked out...took the smug look off her face, I think she thought I would ask for a refund as the mistake had been sorted!!!

Don't understand this, I went to Boots last night, bought 3 sets at 9.99, got the 3 for 2, but not the 50% off, so I paid the full £20.
I didn't like to argue (having also got loads of No 7 and skincare vouchers as well!), but when I looked at the receipt more carefully, the girl had scanned it incorrectly, and on one of the sets she scanned the product inside (at 3.99) instead of the set itself. This meant I'd lost out on my extra 500 points for spending over £25, so I decided to take it back to get it refunded and scanned properly at 3 times 9.99.

The second time, it went through at £4.98!!!!!
