Forgot to mention this in my last post...I have been to Boots twice this week and not been given the skin voucher..the first time I asked and got told there was none left...was not allowed to take receipt to a Boots store which does have them OR bring in my receipt to claim voucher when they had more.
Should I email Boots for a whinge and get some free points added?

Hi
This happened to me last week but it was on an order i placed online. I received a voucher in my first order the week before but not my second, so i rang up boots.com and the guy said he would post one out to me. didn't expect to receive it but i had it on saturday. I would ring them up and complain as you should of had one and now the offer has gone you have missed out, they should offer you a goodwill gesture as you were entitled to it
let us know how you get on.

OP- Thank you sooo much. I have a table full of goodies for all my pregnant friends that look really expensive but cost so little!!!!!!
3 transactions and lots of 10% vouchers, skincare vouchers and advantage machine vouchers mean a gobsmacked cashier. She couldn't believe that my £50 of products ended up being £10, with 580 points. She scoured the reciept and decided it was an odd occurance, but she cottoned on that I knew more than her when it worked the second time I went through the till!Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Only works in store. it is the SHRINK WRAPPED health and beauty mag, with the free A5 sized booklet visible inside the shrink wrap- the smaller booklet is called something like Hot holiday deals. The 10% voucher is on the first page in this smaller booklet.sasha_108 wrote:Have i picked up the wrong magazine? its the freee boots direct one? Where is the 10% off? Went into local boots and before even got to the clearance section was POUNCED upon by real jobsworth who served me yesterday ( she wasn`t going to let me have 3 items for the £4.98 as there was clearly something amiss ) I politely informed her I was in a hurry so could I just pay what the till said I had too as boots tills NEVER make mistakes ... I left her scratching her head trying to work my transaction
Anyway she had great delight informing me the tills had been updated so there was no point in trying to buy anymore as it had now been fixed ( I thanked her very kindly for info but I hadn`t come for anymore baby items but to use my 5 No7 vouchers ) ... She also informed me just before I left that Boots Head Office were NOT VERY HAPPY that people had taken advantage of this offer... to which I replied ... " I BET THEY WEREN`T ... I picked up my 5 bags of goodies of No7 stuff and gift set clearance items and left the store nodding to all members of staff as I left
While I like most members of staff in Boots I visit there are one or two who try and make out you are doing something wrong when taking advantage of the SILLY offers they put on now and again0 -
Thanks for this charlotte
Finally managed to get into town today.
No reductions or offer signs but thought I'd try anyway. Got a few other reduced Christmas stock aswell and used 10% off coupon and managed to get the three little me packs for £3.98 and like someone else said previously the Christmas stuff was reduced even more when it went through the till - looking at the receipt about another 25%, which isn't bad considering it already had at least 75% off!
And got my 500 bonus points too!0 -

I wonder what made this dragon think she had the right to criticise you for simply taking up Boots on one of their offers? The Little Me range is on 3 for 2 - all you were doing was buying 3 of the products from the range, as they clearly were inviting people to do. They could have withdrawn the promotion as soon as they realised what was happening. I'd have asked to speak to her supervisor about her I think!!!0 -
Addy ..... To be honest I think you get certain staff in ALL retail outlets who like to think they think they are being clever by trying to embarrass customers to impress younger or new members of staff , you also get the one who think that offers like this shouldn`t be exploited ( especially when THEY didnt know about offer themselves & so obviously JEALOUS ) and you also get the one who thinks they just own the shop full stop.
I not so long ago had a problem with certain older members of Tescos staff who didnt like the way I shopped and would go out of there way to try and have me stopped ( even though I had already had the store managers approval on this matter ) ...
So much so that one day coupons refused AGAIN by certain checkout operator that I asked manager attend to explain HIS store policy to both of us at the same time and clarify it once and for all .... I watched in amazement as she argued the toss with him regarding what SHE thought the coupon policy should be .....0
