Just to let you know you aint losing your marbles... same thing happened to me yeterday on a teddy, money box & baby wrist rattle which had been reduced .... while it gave you the 500 pounts for spending over £25 there were NO 3 for 2 or savings taken off the final total for these items

hi all!
just thought I'd warn you to check reciepts carefully for the 500 points.
I went today to get a few more (ty mohoc! weren't none on the shelf but as I'd seen your post I asked if there were any backstage) and picked up a £6.99 set with two £9.99. the £6.99 one had been reduced to £1.50 so my total wasn't over £25. I wondered why it all came up to 13.99. so..... I went back, got another 9.99 one and got a refund and started again this time it all came to £4.98!! think maybe my mums one is like my first one as it was £13 something instead of £4.98. will check it to see but not really that bothered as it still worked out at a great bargain -- 3sets for less than one.
I paid for the £1.50 one seperately anyway as I liked it.

Good thing I checked because I got another £5 voucher after the refund, I told her to take it back as I hadn't spent two lots as it was a refund but she told me to keep it!! so I got 2 avene eau spray thingies and paid 40p for them!! all in all a great saving.

BTW, whats thread of month? does the person get a prize? is it the £50 thingy? if so will deff add my vote as charlotte has saved us £££'s

Went into Boots in Oswestry today, picked up 3 £9.99 little me sets. At till it took one off as were on 3 for 2, then it knocked £5 off each of the two remaining packs........did not give me the points everyonelse has had.only gave me 39!!!!!!! I asked the salesperson and she said the information on the tills had been updated!! This was about 13.30 hrs......anyonelse had this problem?????????

It is the £50 thingy, yes
Although the post of the month is not awarded on the number of votes or how much people have saved. Threads are nominated for it, then Martin makes his choice which could be something that saved people a lot of money or it could be for just one single post where somebody has been really helpful to another user.

Hi Shazziere - don't try the Little Me offer on any items that have been reduced by Boots in their ongoing 'sale section.' Instead, head for the baby toiletries stand and find the full-price Little Me gift sets there. The ones marked at £14.99 and £9.99 all work for this amazing offer (well, they do at the Cheltenham store, where the 500 points is still being added as well!).

I've just got loads from Boots in Staines and got the 500 points as well, did this several times in fact each time getting the 500 points. One lot of three did not do the 3 for 2, so when I pointed it out the the sales assistant she gave me a refund on the 3rd item (only the reduced price, but still worth having).

I was thrown today by picking up a gift set which advertised as full price, went through the till at half price, but didn't seem to work on the 3 for 2 - when I checked on the website it's not in the offer, must be old Xmas stock. Pity, it was the one I liked best. Came with a little piggy bank.

Any ideas, later comments seem to suggest not, although they may have been before Ginga96
