Move the decimal point two places so 2649 is worth £26.49.

I dread having to take anything back to Boots. My receipts are usually a foot long, full of points offers and money off vouchers. Working out how much I had actually spent on an item in real money would need a maths degree

I never thought this offer would last this long and they still haven't realised the mistake. As long as the goods are free which in theory they are with the points you get, then I guess we can't complain.
I take your point, but I was considering taking them back in 3's but rather than giving them back 3 @ £14.99 for example, I wondered what would happen if you handed back 2 @£14.99 along with 1 @ £9.99 for a refund.
Someone pointed out that if you bought different priced sets as your 3 it seemed to work out a more expensive way of purchasing (not hugely, I think it was approx £1.00 ish difference), so I wondered if you would 'profit' by having them refunded as mixed price batches of 3.
Probably won't bother anyhow as they need the receipt to refund, & I wouldn't want to risk losing all those lovely points :eek: (my main reason for purchasing), as although I could conveniently forget to take my boots card with me, the card number is printed on the receipt & it only takes one jobsworth at the tills......................

Staff were filling the shelves with clearance bargains and were putting out gift packs of the 'Little Me' range. She told me that the tills were scanning them strange and you get 1 set for £4.99 (half price) but 3 for £4.98, she couldn't understand why but having seen the receipt I realised why! Plus you also get 500 extra points instore on baby which they count before they take off the savings. Here's the receipt to show you how:
Little Me Sleep Gift Set 9.99
Little Me Sleep Gift Set 9.99
Little Me T Shirt Gift Set 9.99
TOTAL BEFORE SAVING 29.97
* 3 FOR 2 * -9.99
* SAVE * -15.00
TOTAL TO PAY 4.98
POINT RECEIVED 39
OFFER POINTS 500
TOTAL 539
Another case at Boots where they take off the 1 free before the savings, so they have paid me 41p in points and £29.97 of goods free.
This applies to all the Little Me gifts sets, there were loads but the ones reduced to £4.99 meant you get the most benefit.

Are the little me gift sets on offer at 3 for 2??
I bought several sets today and the woman on till said gift packs not in the offer. I did mention that several of my 'friends' had bought packs in other stores and they'd scanned thro' 3 for 2 but she assured me that it only applied to toiletries. Does anyone know if thats right - 'cos if she's wrong I'm going back tomorrow with receipt in hand!!0 -
she's wrong - we're all getting our gift sets at 3 for 2 but it has to be particular gift sets, it seems that old sets that might be out on clearance sale aren't included. post number 72 on page 8 of this thread has a list of those included. if your boots store has those sets, take 3 to the till (3 of the same price, it's cheaper that way - if you buy 2 at 14.99 and one at 9.99 you actually pay more than if you're buying 3 at 14.99) and make her go through the whole transaction, see the price the till asks you to pay at the end of the transaction - it should be £4.98 for the 9.99 sets (or £3.98 if you have the ten percent off voucher) or 7-ish for the 14.99 sets (£5.98 if you have the ten percent voucher), with over 500 points awarded.52% tight0
