    Berlin was fab, we flew BA (never again shorthaul - not worth the extra £££)
    the marriott was the best i have ever stayed in and i got a voucher from ebay, well worth it.

    berlin is fantastic and interesting, a must!

    if staying in Ascot, (we are 06/10) have dinner at the belevedere arms - sunninghill, great food, not rip off prices and a short taxi ride.,

  • What kind of food do they serve in the about post, booked in to Ascot for the 10th Oct.......only live 10 miles away from it, but hey it's a free hotel with NO Kids!!!!

  • best rate for the room not the cheapest room there is

    The belvedere does steak, pizza, fancy salads, fish n chips but bistro syle and quality, the duck salad is my favourite.

    It means 'Best Available Rate' for your particular choice of room - as opposed to the cheapest of all the rooms they have available.

    'Best Available Rate' is just their bit of terminology for their own website's price.
