Your New Years resolution sounds sensible. I’m with you planning a daily walk....from Monday.... weather permitting if the weather doesn’t permit I’m going to half an hour of something in the house....probably dust the wii fit off.
Are you still eating plant based food and doing the Michael Mosley plan?
Your retirement will be here before you know it. Hopefully we will be living in a more normally by then and you can have some fun 🤞👍🥂

    Thanks guys. 😀

@amber02 - sorry to hear you never got to go on your cruise. Hopefully now the vaccines are rolling out we'll all be able to make firm holiday plans for later in the year. 🤞

The Barbara Currie dvd I have is called The 7 Secrets of Yoga. I like her sessions.  I'm just doing the 10 minute beginner stretch section at the moment. I was really sore in the back of my legs though after the first few days so it must be doing me some good!🤣

@milann - I fell by the wayside rather on the Michael Mosley plan but I've still got some sachets left so are using them on my 5:2 - on the 600 calorie days.

@doingitanyway and @HairyHandofDartmoor - I'm retiring in the spring when I'm 66 - funnily enough I've had a letter today from the DWP about applying for my State Pension as I receive it when I'm 66. I've gone online and filled out the form. Apparently I'll hear from them with the full details about 14 days before my birthday. I don't know whether to feel pleased or just old!🤣

Not much else to report as I don't feel anything as really changed that much for me personally with regard to the new Covid restrictions.  Feeling sorry for all those parents though with children they have to try and home school while still holding down their jobs.  DSis has been having problems trying to get little nephew to settle down to doing his school work after being so long out of a routine as his school closed before Christmas due to Covid. ☹️

Not a lot going on here as well apart from an invoice from the flat's managing agent for £191 to balance the end year accounts so I paid that today out of the Ad Hoc Savings. 😡

  • Oh fancy your pension letter turning up today after our conversation. Not long now until retirement how wonderful.
Hope little nephew has been a better student today 😁

I saw somewhere today that Barbara Currie also has a You Tube channel. Not long to go now before you retire, hopefully at some stage you’ll be able to get out and about again and start enjoying your freedom 🥳

I looked at Barbara Currie on you tube. It was a beginners one I looked at. 😂😂I haven’t had time to try it out yet. I really must manage my time better.....I’m a gold medalist at spreading things out to fill the day. 😏😏
When dh got his pension. He filled all the forms in and eagerly awaited his pension on his birthday....it didn’t come so he got in touch with them after a week or so. He hadn’t realised it was paid in arrears. All was well 👍
Hope your nephew settles to his schoolwork. It is so hard for families. At least in the summer we had nice weather so they could play out a bit.....providing they had a garden.
