Thank you milann, DIA and brizzle - all the best to you too. 😀
I sat up and saw in the New Year last night - drank my bubbly 🍾 and had calls with the family. There were fireworks going off outside but not nearly as many as usual for a New Year's Eve. Felt rather tired afterwards and went straight to bed - fell asleep almost immediately and didn't wake up till 9am!I haven't made any proper life shattering New Year's resolutions as I never keep to them for long. 😁 I've just decided to cut back on sugary, savoury snacks (@Sunshine_girl2 has done really well doing this), make sure I walk daily and also carry out the stretches in my Barbara Currie yoga dvd on a daily basis as well.
I had a quiet day - did my walk (chilly!) and my stretches, and also the first day of my deep clean month (sort out spice jars, laundry and tidying up). 🧹I spoke to two friends on the phone this afternoon that I haven't spoken to for a while - it was nice to catch up with them although one's health has deteriorated sadly, and my other friend has got it into her head that the Government is exaggerating the pandemic by all the restrictions levied at the moment and the U.K will be going the way of North Korea unless we loosen up!🤣🦠
I've recorded the new TV series 'The Serpent' this evening which looks interesting so will give it a go.MSE Scrimpy Things
Ordered a Molton Brown hand wash/hand lotion set for a good friend's birthday. It was reduced 30% in their sale plus I got 7.25% cashback by ordering via Topcashback!👍And the big event this year will be my retirement!🥳. Getting my pensions organised will be a top priority. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
