I was just thinking the egg wrap sounded good but then read raw carrots in the evening and that sounds like hell!

Well done on keeping to your targets. The egg wrap sounds nice and I assume it feels more like having a proper lunch than eating 2 eggs. 0

Well done again SSG. No wonder you were tired after a 500 calorie day. I'd be not only tired but REALLY grumpy and unpleasant to be around!LBM Dec 2011. Aimed, but failed, to clear all unsecured debt by Feb 2019. Finally free of unsecured debt 21st May 21!

I couldn’t do 500 calories either or if I did I know I’d completely blow it the following by eating everything in sight. That’s why I like SW - I know when I put my mind to it, I can do it with treats thrown in too. I just need to put my mind to it
but well done you if you can do the 500 calories some days :T:A:T

Thank you all! The egg wrap is a lot more tasty than just eating two that are hard-boiled! With regard to the 500 cal days, I always keep these to working week days when I'm busy so I don't think about food so much. The evenings are the dangerous times – hence my carrot munching the other night!
Days 5 & 6 of the Plan:-
- Zero alcoholl – OK
- Maximum of 1500 calories for five days, 500 calories for two days (to include 5 x fruit and veg and just one sweet treat on the 1500 days) – I moved the 500 day to today as I thought I might have a nice surprise when I get on the scales tomorrow (I need this as I've put back on all the weight that I previously lost a couple of months ago!). Both days ok – just scraping in on 1,500 cals.
- Six glasses of water per day – failed both days! Again I must try harder at work! See the "Go to Bed…" para for my feeble excuse!
. - Step up the walking pace – Again, I've gone over the half an hour per day if you add up all the minutes I've walked – too tired to add extra on my final walk of the day though.
- Go to bed at a reasonable hour – I've been feeling so tired that on both evenings I've been in bed before 9.30pm! Which is good, but I woke up around 4.30am each time! Also meant that I didn't fill up on my water!
- No money wasting. Balance YNAB daily – Budgeted spends are £5 I had to put towards the loyalty vouchers to buy my bra in M&S, £10 contribution to colleague's birthday present, and £17.10 for my ticket to the Christmas Shopping Show in November (30% off if booked this week). Apart from these, nothing Ad Hoc spent and everything balanced.
Still waiting for my PPI cheque, although in fairness they still have next week to forward it to me under their timescale.
It's dead in work here today – just as well as only three of us out of nine on the desk are in work today! Looking forward to knocking off on time and three days off!

Thanks beanie.
I personally love YNAB - it's really made a difference in the way I can budget everything down to the penny and certainly helped me kill the debt in the past. Having said that some don't get on with it. And if you're a bit of a whizz with spreadsheets you might find that you can replicate it quite well yourself.
Funnily enough I've just had an email confirming my yearly sub has been charged - which is $45. I'll have to wait till it shows on my CC to see how it equates in sterling. One thing I have noticed though is that YNAB is now charging an annual sub of $83.99 to new users which is quite a bit more than I'm paying. I'm not sure why this is - it might be because I'm on the old version, but if so it still works for me.
If you want to try it then YNAB gives you a month's free trial and there are online live tutorials that you can book yourself on to which are very helpful.
Hope the above helps! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
