*coughs* If you dont shop at Matalan etc, you wouldn't know which were their brands unless the gift giver told you.
I think the poster took offense that you would throw something away simply because it came from a certain shop Anyhooooooo this isnt the debate board, so i'll shut up now."On behalf of teachers, I'd like to dedicate this award to Michael Gove and I mean dedicate in the Anglo Saxon sense which means insert roughly into the anus of." My hero, Mr Steer.0 -
No, you read the line incorrectly I didn't say the POSTS were rubbish, it should be read in the context of "Poundland rubbish" meaning the stuff from Poundland is rubbish.
I'm not sure where I've discovered that M&S have a value range? The clothing I purchased was from their normal line of children's clothing.
Again, it is your opinion that the quality is better, just simply not mine & I wasn't stating that you were being label elitism, just that I can't stand it
You've taken my post far far far too personally, which wasn't even intended towards you, just simply putting my own personal point of view across.
I have made my point clear & shall not argue over silly misunderstandings.
On a more relevent topic as I think the thread should move back to the original OP's request. I'm not sure if you have any of these type of stores near you OP but I have one nearby that sells off ex-chainstore gift lines, they've some lovely ornaments and giftss for ladies and gents, BHS, Debenhams and some really lovely Debenhams towels all at a fraction of the high street prices. We've one in Wakefield, Freddy's near the Ridings Shopping Centre.0
