I hope things more comfortable now Tink . Do they still use the grommets that don't drop out nowadays ? Middle daughter got to a point where the other type would drop out in a day or so and had the ones that need removing used instead. I haven't thought of them for years but your post has reminded me . She was very young but they used to let her watch on the screen as they were withdrawn .
It should have been a clue for the future that the two youngest loved all things medical , the more gory the better .

Glad the party went well yesterday and hopefully you be much better soon . Just think of the caravan holiday . it will soon arrive .

Dull , grey and horribly humid here . It's supposed to move away overnight and into tomorrow . Forecast breezy and rain on and off . I'll take that over humid any day .

How are things with now AOT ? I hope you've managed a short time outdoors . I think I recall you having a balcony , a little sit out there should blow away the cobwebs .

Good weather and spoons to the gardeners and all who read or post .

I cannot believe how much better I feel being off gluten!:)

I have reduced the majority of my fibromyalgia symptoms. I am in much less pain, especially my knee pain. I haven't had a migraine since January and I don't have any stomach problems. I didn't have period pains in the last two months either, well, a bit of a nagging pain, but not the usual pain that would make me lie in bed taking painkillers.

I don't feel as stiff in the morning and I haven't had any headaches either.

It's unbelievable, next time I see my GP for my usual 6 month blood test in June I will tell him to tell his patients with fibromyalgia to get off gluten and see if it helps them.

I wish I had tried this earlier as it was at the bottom of my list of things to try to see if it would help!:D

I can't believe something so simple would help that much!

Yeah it's a T shaped one and I've had it in for a few years. Got some drops to put in too!

Wednesday - I'm GF and find it's a much better way of feeling less bloated and groggy! I think you make healthier choices as your more restricted.

Tired and cold today - can't wait till 6pm so I can go to bed!

Thank you for caring Polly and Wolfy.. I was feeling very sorry for myself when did that post but picked up a bit now.
Yes Polly we do have a small veranda (and I do mean small) and when I can bend my knees enough to step over the door ridge I take a folding chair and sit outside for a while. It's lovely.
But the rain is back today and has brought a very chilly wind with it.

To make life livelier I have builders converting the bathroom to include a walk in shower which will be a lot easier but, oh dear, the noise one man with a hammer can make!

Sorry, I meant to say something to you in my earlier post but the quote didn't show up and I forgot. :oThat happens a lot on this forum where the quote doesn't work!

I had a high result on my liver tests last year and I started taking a herbal supplement daily called Milk Thistle. I have the tablets and the tincture. My next liver function test came back fine. It is meant to be very good at detoxifying livers and totally natural. Check with your GP of course but I think it is harmless to try.

Hey! Hope everyone is doing well and had a nice bank holiday weekend!

The sun shone for us so we managed to get the garden all cleared and painted the fence too. Was great for the kids to be outside too.

I'm feeling loads better but the heat is draining me! I just feel like I have no energy and it's really hard to pull myself round? Not sure if it's the heat or the knock on from the infection I had but I'm finding it hard to keep up.

On the plus side I've been quite pro active in the house and with the food budget this month - using a lot from the freezer and hoping to keep going like this till we go away at the end of the month.

Me and DH had a lovely little mini break (long weekend) and it was so nice to talk and just not be at home doing things and rushing around cooking meals etc.

Hope everyone is ok and managing in the heat!

Tink good to see you posting - just do what you can, there's no shame in saying "enough, I'm stopping for the day now". ;)

We're away at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning for our holiday , so I'll "see" you all on 21st May. Assuming I don't fall off the ferry into the Irish Sea! :D
