Have been having a flare recently and currently feeling really rubbish. Didn't sleep last night either which doesn't help. I couldn't even concentrate on a puzzle properly earlier (started one though), but then I've been doing some work in bed and just trying to distract myself, but hopefully not over doing it.0

Itisme Much sympathy - flares absolutely suck!If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Well I’m still here ..... just!
It’s a bit manic with it being the holidays and everything is all over the place but I’m trying to keep organised best I can!
I have HM chilli (from the freezer) for tea tonight. Took bread buns out to make Bacon butties for the kids in the morning then we are going to see a show! I’m going to pop to the shops and get a chicken for Sunday and maybe if it’s dry let the kids have a run round the park.
Today has been the first dry day all week! I even managed to get a few bits on the washing line too.
I’m tired tho and have done too much (I always do over the holidays) I have my pjs on on DH is sorting the kids and tea out tonight. I find I get stressed over ‘occasions’ and it makes me rush round more and really there is no need? I’d love to be a laid back person but I don’t think I can do it!
I’ve still been going to the gym and swimming and I do really enjoy it! I’m going to make a Drs app soon about coming off some of my medication as I hate taking so many tablets but we will see.
I hope everyone is well - I can’t even begin to reply to everyone individually today but I love hearing how everyone is doing and send a big hug to those who need them! If anyone wants to chuck some spoons my way to get me through the 2nd week of school holidays that would be great :rotfl:

Tink I can spare you a couple of teaspoons, but I need the rest myself.
I have two Cavapoos staying; one 4 years old, the sort of size you'd expect (ie quite small), and a good little chap; the other is 10 months old, the size of a large Standard Poodle, and running me ragged.
It's just "puppiness" if that makes sense, but it's very tiring!

LW I have survived! I went to bed at 9pm last night and managed to get some rest!
Took the kids to a show this morning then for lunch, it was bright but still freezing cold along the coast.
Went to Mr M shopping and got a big soap powder for £7 and loads of wonky veg really cheap. A chicken for Sunday and that!!!8217;s dinner sorted.
Hoping to have a chill out tomorrow littlest is at football in the afternoon but that!!!8217;s it so might see if we all wrap up and go for a walk if it!!!8217;s dry or might just try to catch up in the house. Will see.
Me and DH are going to watch a film tonight and have a bit tome together as hardly seen each other! No idea what we are going to watch but I hope I stay awake for it!
Have a great weekend everyone

Well today the spoon shortage has caught up with me!
Home on the sofa feeling awful, I think I have a cold and I’m just so tired and achy that today has been written off.
Luckily we didn’t need to do anything today really so DH has been in the garden with the kids (until the rain started) and now took DS to football while me and DD are watching Tom and Jerry!
Soup out of the freezer for lunch and took some spag Bol out of the freezer for tea so I don’t need to worry about that. Batch cooking is great for me as it means I can cook on my good days and have home cooked stuff from the freezer when I’m not so good.
Have a good weekend everyoneLiving the simple life0 -

Candy that's good news about another staffy . Bonnie will have so much fun .
I think many have been achy and spoonless over the last few months . I've been flaring and short on sleep as has dd . All the new appointments have been hard to keep up with .
Had a nightmare with CMHT . I was leaving messages asking for a return call to discuss why they weren't needed and not receiving replies . They were due to call here last Wednesday and by Monday I'd decided I'd have to go there on Tuesday and sort it in the building .
Thankfully I finally got a call back from probably the only person with a brain cell . Very long conversation pointing out dd already had everything required and did not need any of their " help ".
Message was passed on to person assigned to the case and accepted .
It must be dreadful to need them urgently and not be able to contact them . It's always been a recorded message .
The sun has finally shown it's face today , not really warm but the horrible dampness has gone . Let's hope we'll get better days .
I hope everything went well on Thursday Wolfy , I had you both in mind and was sending the positive vibes .
So how is everyone else ? I haven't been online much recently . Wishing you all some sun , warmth and spoons in abundance .

Prescription Charges from April 2018 .
I've been meaning to post this for the past month .
Charge per item is now £8.80 .
Annual PPC frozen again at £104.00.
3 month PPC also frozen at £29.10 .
Anyone on regular meds needing to pay for prescriptions on a regular basis . Do the maths and see if the PPC is money saving .
I pay dds annually upfront and Wolfy does with hers . There is a direct debit option available if you prefer to spread the cost .
DDs monthly meds picked up the day after her last ppc expired more than covered the £104.00 outlay so the next 11 months are "free "
Hope everyone is ok . Is it back to school tomorrow Tink ?
You've been quiet Prinzess so I hope all is well with you both .
I saw your good news on the Fence Wolfy . I've fallen behind on posts lately and have been catching up .
That news must the best thing ever for both of you . I imagine each of you have been anxious about possible outcomes individually .
I'm so glad that big fear has lifted . Shame it took so long to get there but well worth the wait . Hope you get some sun and a chance to be in the garden .
Sending positive vibes to all posters and readers . Take care all .

Hi everyone!
Well kids are back to school this week and the madness is back! I’m trying to take everything a bit easier and to be honest by this time in the year I’m just trying to make it till the end of the school year.
FIL has been in hospital and MIL is disabled so having to look after them both a lot lately. They have Carers come in but it’s just things like making sure they are eating and safe.
Work has been ok although there is loads of pressure to do overtime and it’s being pitched as ‘everyone needs to do their bit’ I’m sorry but I work part time and I’m not killing myself to do more as all that will happen is ill be off sick? They don’t seem to get this tho?
Im still going swimming and to the gym and I can feel a difference - im sore today tho as I went yesterday but I feel better in the long run and the weight is coming off still which is good.
We are hoping to take the kids abroad this year but looking at the cost I just don’t think we can manage it - DD is 8 and she took it really well - I said we might try and book a caravan holiday instead so we can still have a break and she thought that was a great idea! I’ve been looking and I can get something for 4 days for under £300 for 4 of us. We always take our own food and have a lovely time. It’s a shame as me and DH have not been abroad for 12 years and the kids have never been but with the stuff that needs doing in the house and the lack of savings we have after moving last year I don’t think I can pull it off without being very skint or going into debt and the stress is not worth it. Will see if we can make a holiday chart and start doubting some money saving things with the kids so we can ‘watch’ the savings go up for a holiday next year.
I had batch cooked loads of meals for the freezer again so having a chilli for tea and the kids have had the spag bol. So I’m hoping I can keep this stocked and have some easy meals for tea as meal planning is something I’m not great at although I try!
Hope everyone is ok - I’m off to catch up now!
