    Tinted windows...

    Oh come on, seriously?

Do you really think the fire service arent going to look into the rear of a large people carrier and that the only hope of your children being saved in some catastrophic accident is if theres a "child on board" sticker on it?

    Really?

Good point... will run this by the wife...

I thought this would have been blindingly obvious, but clearly not.

Calm down dear, conversation ended long ago. As i said in my original post it was recommended by an actual fireman, and as i have said since, im not fussed either way, it's the missus who's freaking out. however as per on these forums, rather than calmly offering some logic that has been missed some people are too keen to shove their tongue into their lower lip and make derogatory comments rather than just pointing out a different POV.

So come on, seriously? read my point from yesterday at 9.29am where i considered takman's post and conceded that it doesnt matter all that much, instead of a resurrecting a post that had disappeared from page 1 of the motoring forums due to it now being obsolete...

Extremely surprised you needed to come on to a forum in the forum to be told that your wifes "freaking out" was banal, and equally surprised it took quite a few posts for you to be convinced.

And its a public forum, so i can reply when i want thanks.

It's just another blind spot in your rear window. With these huge A-pillars stuffed with airbags and ever bigger cars, I'd rather have as few things as possible in all my windows.

I agree - however having changed from a 2008 civic to an s-max i feel like i have gained a phenomenal amount of rear vision!
