  • Hi all well this morning i have done day 1 of week 2. I was unsure whether to do this or just repeat week 1, but i' m so chuffed with myself that i managed the start of week 2. I had been running with either my sister or my friend last week and they were much quicker me, so it was nice to go out this morning and shuffle at my own pace!! I had been doing mon, wed & fri, but cant go tomorrow, but will hopefully pick it back up wed. Good luck to everyone doing their runs today. X
  • Morning All

Well done to everyone who has started their following weeks plan, I will do mine tomorrow.

Will be going for a long walk this afternoon around Sandringham and on Thursday will be swimming :eek::eek: I am so dreading it not been swimming locally for years but my son is learning and he wants to stay in the pool after lessons to practice, there is no one else so its down to me to accompany him :( As I have to do it anyway I am going to make the most of it and do lane swimming for the half hour whilst he is in his lesson. Does anyone else swim?

I love swimming, but getting to the pool is difficult. When I was younger I used to swim for my county...can't imagine even completing one of my old training routines now! Although when I go I do normally knock off half a mile or so.

I did my last wk2 run today....Tuesday I move to week 3! Went well today. I get my breath back so much more quickly now than I did when I started.

    Good luck everyone else!

  • So I made it to Sports Direct, and in the end bought a flouro yellow long sleeved top and it was only 9.99. Heaps of bargains there too, so would recommend to anyone in need of a bit more kit!

Week 6 run 2 tomorrow; if I put it on here then I won't wriggle out of it!

Yes I like a swim. I do 2 aquarobics classes a week and usually stay in the pool afterwards and do 30 mins of lengths. I'm slow and can only do breast stroke but it's better than nothing !

iammumtoone- did you have a nice walk? I've not really left the house all weekend. But got loads done inside. I don't go swimming, the local pools are awful here! They are dirty, smelly and dont get looked after!

elfbert- i am a week behind you, i am going into week 2 tomorrow morning!

Fletch- week 6! Wow, great going :)

ERICSMUM- you are putting me to shame, you do so much exercise! Well done, i bet it pays off :)

So, tomorrow morning is my week 2, day 1! Looking forward to it :) I am also going to look into routes i can do around my town. It;s incredibly hilly around here, and i dont think i am ready to tackle hills just yet, but there must be some flat areas somwhere. I've only been living here a few months, so dont know the area really well yet.

    How was it?
Does it increase by much in the 2nd week? I think i heard somewhere that it was 60secs walk and 90secs run, vs 90secs walk, 60 secs run? Is that right?

I should go and listen to it on iTunes actually, so i know what to expect tomorrow!
