Hi All
Well I had a reasonably good day yesterday – only a couple points over so that is not too bad. Today I have been really good and as I am likely to go straight to bed when I get home (as it will be after 10pm) I am unlikely to snack so I shall actually have earned some bonus points today!
I think I mentioned that on Sunday I made some salads for the week – well one of them was nice (and I am still eating it) and the other was horrible! I tried to make it better by adding a little bit of mayonnaise to it yesterday (not too much!) but it was still horrible so last night I binned it. Instead I made something that is not particularly low in fat but is nice and I adapted it make it lower in fat than it should have been – Waldorf salad (Cranks cookbook). I didn’t put celery in it, because I didn’t have any, so it was just cheese, apple and walnuts. It should have had ¼ pint of mayonnaise as well but no way was I going to use that much (just slather it on my thighs and cut out the middle man, why don’t you!) so instead I used 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise mixed with 2 tablespoons of natural yoghurt. As this recipe makes 4 portions I didn’t think that was too bad – I have just worked out the points per portion is about 6½ so I think that’s O.K. Especially when you consider that the other salad I have been having with it is only about 2 or 3 points per portion (chickpeas and kidney beans with cucumber, etc)
I remember once when I was a member of Weight Watchers previously, the leader saying how important it is to enjoy you food and it is so true – I would much rather have a little bit of something I really really like than a lot of something that I don’t and I am just eating to fill me up!!
Sorry to ramble on! Hope everyone is having a good day.PigginSkint's debt free diary

I feel really bad...
I had so many slip ups last week I didn't even bother to weigh as I knew I'd be cheesed off and cross with myself. It's made me not want to post on here because you've all been so good.
I have been a good girl since Monday though. I've walked the dog twice a day (fast walking inc hills) for at least an hour in total, and I haven't pigged out. I promise to weigh in this week.
Probably TMI but it's that time of the month and I've been peeing like a racehorse so I should lose a bit of weight that way if I don't lose anything else
Oh, and I have 1 very happy dog!

Day one from Mon which is cool.
You are lucky as I cant do lots of walking so thats bound to help you loose weight & even if not then you're fitter.

I've got SUCH Wispa cravings!! Think i'll have to get one at the weekend and share it (begrudingly) with my chocolate loving OH.
Was very good yesterday, but just scoffed a poached egg roll smoooothered in HP Sauce. Haven't even read the back of a bottle of HP, but i imagine it's full of salt and crap. Yummy.0 -
Morning all!
I think I have found the cure to chocolate. Spend one weekend eating so much of it you make yourself feel ill and then when you stop you get withdrawal headaches and STILL don't want to eat any!!!
Well it seems to be working for me at least!
I've been a very good slimmer since Monday and will hopefully have lost something by the time next Monday somes round. At least that's the plan.
But I have loads of work to do today as I am on holiday (at home) next week
First weeks holiday since May! And I am really looking forward to some long lie in's and time to do some home cooking.
Oh and I am going to try and do some exercise this evening, depending on how the headache is by then.
