  • Hi there, I'd like to join in again this month please :) Sorry I'm a bit late! I'd like to try for £10 a day again. I didn't quite make it last month but did improve on the previous month.

I've been quite busy with a carboot today and various items ending on ebay plus a few other odds and ends. Here's the breakdown:

£1.64 - book sold on amazon
    £52.35 - carboot sale
    £26 - ebay
    £3.75 - mystery shopping
(sold a dresser on gumtree for £35 but I can't remember if I added it to last months total or not so I'll leave it out for September!)

    So far that's: £83.74

Not a bad start. Here's hoping to a good month! Good luck everyone :)

I second what Lynne says:T. It's lovely to see so many new people joining us this month too:beer:

Sorry, been AWOL all day and tried to post something a couple of hours ago but my broadband connection keeps 'dropping out'. I've had the afternoon from hell trying to sort it. The lights on the router have been flashing on and off through all the colours like demented traffic lights. One minute I had a connection, tried to read emails or check other stuff only to find an error page telling me there seems to be something wrong with my connection:mad:. It just kept happening over and over again. The connection never held for more than about 5 minutes at a time.

I'm ashamed to say I just can't live without my broadband:o and was almost in tears earlier after everything I did to fix it failed. In the end I bit the bullet and phoned the BT helpline (the only reason I don't is because it's in India or somewhere and although free to call I just can't understand the accents of the people who try to help:o)

Anyway a lovely lady with an accent I could pretty much understand sorted me out remotely without me having to do anything else at my end and all should be well:j:j:j. Goodness knows what she/they did but it's restored my sanity (for now at least). Fingers crossed it will work long-term eh?

Back later after I've had a much-needed cup of tea. I'm parched after all the hours wasted faffing about:rotfl:
  • Thank you for the new thread Aesop and Lynne!
