Hugs Valli everyone deals with these things differently, there are no right or wrong ways, only your own way. One thing we are not told is how exhausting grief is - and that grief often begins at the acute illness stage. You have achieved an awful lot this summer, as I'm sure your sister and the rest of your family feel.

I hope work are able to empathise with your circumstances and don't make things more difficult than they already are xxx

Having a little bit of cake trauma. Elsa's cloak is rather heavy... Still, I'll do my best and what more can you do? We also have balloons in the boot of the car, tins of paint purchased and DS hair snipped.

Going to have a cuppa and some lunch then kiddies are away to a party.

Mrs MP, well done on moving that shed.

I have stopped decorating. The gloss paint started to give me a headache after a couple of hours, and I ran out on the very last coat on the last door. Can't believe I'm going to have to buy more -might see if I can get a tester pot or two.

Also, a friend left a message to ring back for a catch up so that is what I'm going to do next.

Valli Don't worry about housework - as long as everyone's fed and you're not up to your knees in detritus, let it ride. You've enough on your plate. (((HUGS)))

Jazee Poppet is well-named; what a little sweetheart!

Donna  yuk, yuk and yuk to putrid chicken breast! _pale_
Ooh, and fwiw, I like the name Phoebe for the jug puppy. I'm assuming that's Jack Russell / Pug?:o

  • Hi ladies

It's persisting it down here and the kids are climbing the walls. Joy! DH is at work so he's escaping the chaos.

Not done much flying at all but have done a load of work admin for DH. Feeling very lethargic so I'm in clean pjs already :o

I have been considering taking out kitchen appliance cover in the event of the DW, WM etc breaking - MiL has it and was waxing lyrical about how worthwhile it is. Anybody have any experience?

Big big hugs to Valli and also to Frizzle xx

    Enjoy strictly tonight!

So ATB, over the year you would pay out £144. It might be better saving this and building up an actual cash fund. For £20 I would almost certainly save not pay it as a premium. Depends what you pay for appliances. Just a thought.
