Morning all. Hope everyone has a lovely day. Back to work Monday and I feel like I have achieved nothing this hols. Cleaning has become a near-impossible chore, and I am fairly certain it's because of al, that is going on, setbacks etc.

Hugs Valli, maybe work on Monday will be some sort of distraction for a few hours, difficult times.

Valli big hugs x I went back to work Thursday, as much as I hated the thought of work I secretly enjoyed it - I also carry a big black dog with me

Jazee - puppy is adorable, what breed is she - we have just bought a beautiful jug puppy - she finally comes home in 3 weeks time, as yet unnamed, Pepper, Pickle, Phoebe and Violet are in possibilities

Jazee - what is the crazy clothes challenge?

Do we not have a list on Saturday - or can I just sit on my very large bottom lol!

Must tackle fridge - there is a rotten cucumber in there somewhere, also want to get my bake on today

Donnajt - no list on a Saturday. You can either catch up or sit on your bottom if you prefer.

This is the link to the crazy clothes challenge, the idea being that you set yourself a budget for the year and stick to it: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5386084

Poppet the puppy is a crossbreed, nothing fancy!

Dog walking done, best finish my cuppa and get on with the decorating.

    Morning all

Valli, hugs for you sounds like you are having to shoulder an awful lot and being so brave for everyone, please look after yourself as well.
Get angry and if you have to shut yourself in your room and hit cushions or whatever else helps do it, don't bottle things up.

Jazee poppet sounds and looks gorgeous

Spent last night moving the garden shed, the base we'd stood it on had rotted through, so we had to empty it then ease it off onto the lawn, take the rotted base up, level the slabs and put a row in to take account of the slight slope in the garden. While it was out I restained the side and back we can't normally get to. Then we had to ease it back off the lawn into its correct position and fill it again. It is an 8x6 shed so took some doing. Luckily we had some long metal tubes we used as rollers to help slide it on. Loads of carp has been disposed off.
Have done the shopping for us and mil this morning, got to drop mils round, measure up for some repairs we need to do on her porch then nip and see dd1 this afternoon I might gloss our windowsill and radiator as its just started raining so unlikely to get anything outside done.

    Have a good weekend all
