Oh maman, I worry that this WI today will make me think I can eat many more churros than I really should. But I have 6 1/2 lbs to play around with over 5 days so hopefully I will still be in target when I get back. I'm so going to enjoy Madrid though!

Just go and enjoy yourself. You're very unlikely to gain 6.5lbs and any gain will go quickly when you get back on plan. If you like galleries then I'd really recommend the Thyssen Bornemisza, perhaps less well known than the Prado. It's arranged as art through the ages so very informative. And back on a food theme, if you fancy a good value meal at lunchtime then try the cafeteria in El Corte Ingles (department store). We stayed opposite the one near Puerto del Sol but there are others .:)

:T good loss ruby. You've done ever so well to stick to plan and the exercise programme with all the stress at work.

ETA: well done mrsp, have you plans for gaining that pound?:D

I think weighing knowing it could be a gain and starting afresh can be good motivation. It might be worth planning for snacks if you don't already do it because many people have low syn/free meals and then undo their good work with synful snacks.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB bread, HEA milk
L: cold pork, fried potato and veg, pickles
    D: Bolognese stuffed marrow
Syns: maybe cheese on marrow if no HEA left, scrape of spread on bread

Yes I've been bored with my snacks of late so time to have a rethink and plan for something more interesting - will make me less likely to go over on syns!
  • Lovely pics of the cats mrsp we did some cat sitting last week for a friend (looking after them in their own house) and I was so sorely tempted to take the youngest one back with me, he's adorable. I'd really love a cat but just not feasible at the moment, more than happy to coo over pics of others though :D

Love the pic of Poppy as well tweets she looks all smiley

The weekend's been a bit of a write off for me. Went a bit bingey on Saturday and ate way more syns than I should have but stopped short of going to the shop and buying lots of bad stuff so little NSV there I think. Sunday I just couldn't keep myself full so will be trying extra extra hard this next 2 days to try and stop the gain

    Have a good day everyone
    xx

Is anyone else having problems with the flow from the hydrate water bottle?

Hello again, sorry for joining up and then not posting for a few days. I have been really busy, but sticking (I hope!) to the plan. It feels a bit daunting to navigate just now.

I did a food shop this morning and went with a list after menu planning last night. Although I forgot my glasses and missed out the low calorie fat spray.I have a chicken in the oven for dinner later and lots of veg to go with it. Is there a slimming world way of doing roast potatoes or parsnips?

    L. A bowl of homemade minestrone soup and a pear.

    D. Roast chicken with veg (undecided which yet)

    s. Apple

I am just back from swimming and aqua aerobics and upgraded my membership to include some more fitness classes.
