B/D - Fruit. Didn't feel hungry at all this morning but thought I'd better have something.

Made up for lack of volume at tea time though! Roast beef, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, carrots, baby corn, broccoli, green beans and onion gravy. Approximately half the plate was speed, plus gravy and not a syn in sight.

Going to have both HEXs on a slice of cheese on toast before bed.

BM - A long walk and bits round the house. I've only just sat down properly!
  • Had a really poo-ey day at work. So busy so unfortunately not really eaten today.

B - 35g porridge (hexb) milk as hexa
    L - nothing
D - nothing (might heat a portion of sw spag Bol)

Snacks - cucumber and carrot sticks
Syns - red berries and lime bulmers 15 and a half Syns.

Very bad day. I'll do better tomorrow!!

That's a good start tie . I know what you're saying about inclusion but if it becomes impossible to manage a child's needs in mainstream then they can be moved to special ed. At least that's what happens in my area. It seems at your school the child is being kept there to your detriment.
Back on topic: how do you make your onion gravy syn free topgirl ?
Thanks for the handcream tip gettingthere

Morning everyone. Yet another Monday is here again...

Those cats are adorable mrsp - can't wait till we move into our house and I can hopefully persuade the husband that we should get a cat. Hope things start to get better for you tie - my mum has moved from being an LSA providing direct one to one help to running additional maths and english sessions for those not deemed SEN as she was in a similar situation to you. Maybe that's something you could talk to the management about? She still hates the job mind you but she is almost at retirement age so just wants to give up now!

Happy to report a 2.8lb loss this week shala, despite mother nature making a visit at the weekend, so I'm all bloated this morning. Have one more week of my workout program to go and I've never got this far before, I always end up giving up after week 2, but week 3 is done and week 4 is in sight. Hoping to move straight into the next level which is an 8 week program. I think finally a switch has gone in my head and I'm determined to get to target.

    Today's menu:

B - Porridge (HEB and 1/2 HEA), strawberries, blueberries
L - LO chilli con carne, rice, cheese (1/2 HEA)
D - Stir Fry (vegetables, wholewheat noodles, garlic, ginger, soy, 5 spice)
    S - popcorn (2.5 syns), hot chocolate (2.5 syns), 2 clementines

Just a quick post as I'm in the shop and the laptop might switch itself off at any moment.

Reporting in with a gain of 2lb this week - last weeks celebrations have obviously caught up with me, although I've stuck to plan since sister and niece went home. Day One today, minimum syns and accurate weighing, measuring and counting are the order of the week.

Well done to everyone that's lost and commiserations to anyone else in the joiners club.

    Have a good week everyone.

Great losses this morning rosy and betty and well done on your 3.5 stone shiny emmy.:T:T:T

Thank you maman but mine was a GAIN!

Congrats on your award beanie, so glad your hard work has been recognised. Well done to you too Ruby! Sounds like you have a great work team.

Loving the super-cute pet photos :)

I shall be following Lois's example this week with minimal syns and accurate measuring etc. Fighting an uphill battle though as it's that TOTM so feeling rough and craving sugar!

Went to the other group today and either I've been very very good or their scales are very generous as I have lost 2 1/2 lbs which takes me half a lb below my bottom range of target! Granted it is morning and I hadn't eaten yet and I normally weigh at 5.30pm. So I got my 1 1/2 award and was told to eat more :rotfl:

:T good loss ruby. You've done ever so well to stick to plan and the exercise programme with all the stress at work.

ETA: well done mrsp, have you plans for gaining that pound?:D

I think weighing knowing it could be a gain and starting afresh can be good motivation. It might be worth planning for snacks if you don't already do it because many people have low syn/free meals and then undo their good work with synful snacks.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB bread, HEA milk
L: cold pork, fried potato and veg, pickles
    D: Bolognese stuffed marrow
Syns: maybe cheese on marrow if no HEA left, scrape of spread on bread
