Afternoon
I was writing a post this morning after I'd typed a response to Greentiger but my laptop did its usual thing, switched itself off, and I lost the lot. On my tablet now so more chance of actually posting.
Orlao - sorry to her about your dog, they do become a big part of our lives and it's hard to lose them.
Well done to all the losers, specially you Sammy, you must be really pleased, that's a great result for your first week.
I'm firmly back on plan today and hoping that my meals out over the weekend don't sneak up on me. I'm going to class later and if the SW scales match my home scales I'll have maintained which I'm happy with. Plenty of time left this week to lose some weight by Monday.
Enjoy the rest of the day.

I'm going to make saucy things (fnar!) and save them
...
 TMI!!!
My meal today would have been reasonable. It was very nouvelle cuisine so small portions and veg on the side. Syns probably only in the sauces. Unfortunately I finished it off with a cheeseboard so mega syns there.
I buy hardly any cheese for home except some grated for the freezer to use as an occasional topping. It's too synful and not good for DH either. That's why I took advantage when I was out.
Still feel quite stuffed.:o
I hope you enjoy going back to class lois.:)0 -
Found a picture from Trago Mills, Lois. On the back I've written

I'm sure they were representations of politicians. I tried doing some research to find out but no joy. There’s a lot of other ‘interesting’ stuff though. Looks like there's a lot of building going on in the background of my pic – some things never change. I also remember offering a Scottish fiver for something, which they would not accept, but an assistant swapped hers for mine "because it was so pretty". It had Robert Burns and an illustration from "To a Mouse" on it (we still have these fivers). It's odd what comes back to mind!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Back again having maintained as expected. I do enjoy going to class Maman, there are some real characters and we always have a good laugh.
Thanks for the photo Greentiger, the statues are amazing and one of them does look familiar, I think I've seen it in the garden centre, I'll have a good look next time we go.

Evening all,
Well done Topgirl and thanks as always to Shala for the chart.
STS for me this week which I'm quite surprised about TBH. It could have been worse...
It's my last couple of weeks at work (I'm being made redundant) so quite a few lunches/drinks out to say goodbye plus I had a horrible middle of the night dash to the vets on Sunday with my little dog and he didn't make it. I knew he didn't have that long left - liver tumour - but I'd really hoped it would be just a bit longer and that he could have been PTS to sleep in his own bed IYSWIM. It's a very empty house now, first time in 25 years that there's been no dog here.
It was a shock coming in today and not been met by a hairy scruffbag. RIP Puppy, sleep tight.
But I didn't fall off the wagon and misery eat as I would have a year ago so that is something I suppose.
So sorry to hear about your furbaby, running free of pain over the rainbow bridge. You have lots of happy memories to focus on. Hope you soon have another job too :AI dont mind you posting off plan meals Maman.
I seem to be having more than I should at present & I am trying to get to target!
Pizza & ice cream with my lovely DS & his GF for his birthday. How can he be 23!!!
Those of you with littlies treasure every moment as it goes sooo fast.
My son will be 23 in January :eek:Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I've had a very 'fishy' day. Kippers for breakfast and lunchtime I had a smoked trout fishcake starter followed by John Dory on a bed of spinach and mash. Tonight I've been watching a programme about the cockle beds in North Gower so I just had to have cockles. I had a jar in the cupboard so snacked on those with lots of vinegar and white pepper. Not as good as freshly cooked ones but tasty all the same.0

:A Thank you all for your kind sympathies. I really do appreciate them you know.
On a SW front, I think I may have to go into the naughty corner soon ...another leaving do with divine canapes that I sampled enthusiastically:eek: nearly worth the squillions of syns I think but stayed off the booze. Staying off that until Friday week which is my last day and I hear that a blow out is planned...
My lovely bosses got me some gorgeous flowers - I wish I knew how to post photos - and a beautiful Barbour jacket, size 12 and it fits perfectly.

beanie and TIE, your boys are mere babes in arms. My baby will be 37 just before Christmas – and his big sister will be 40 in a couple of weeks!!!!!!! How did that happen?
I love fish too, maman. I don’t like the smells that linger and pervade the whole house though! Does anyone have any ideas to combat this? I keep meaning to do a fish week again – I lost 4lbs the last time. Something to consider when I’ve finished eating the freezer!
Lovely jacket, orlao. I wish you health to wear it.
Dinner turned out to be syn free goulash, so we had that with green beans and new potatoes followed by a very tasty ML apple crumble & custard yogurt. I also had a shortbread finger (5) in the afternoon.
So today

My head hurts doing this, but it’s necessary to try to recover from my naughtiness as much as possible before I go out for lunch on Friday!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Morning everyone! Had a day out of the office at a conference and can you believe they ran out of food while I was in a seminar. Good job I had 2 alpen lights and a couple of satsumas in my bag!
Today I'm back in the office and we have our staff awards this evening. I've been nominated for one category but really hope I don't win, can't stand to have to go up in front of everyone. They provide a buffet and last year it was relatively healthy (lots of salad!) so hoping for the same this year!
B - Porridge (HEB and 1/2 HEA), strawberries
L - Speed soup, carrot and celery sticks
D - Buffet
Oh and a massive NSV for me last night - I was baking cakes ready for our Macmillan coffee morning tomorrow and I didn't lick any of the bowls! Usually I'd be all over them but last night I decided to just chuck the washing up liquid straight in. Didn't even lick my fingers when I got some icing on them. I don't know where this willpower has come from but long may it continue to stay!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

I love it
So now you've an excellent reason to make sure it keeps fitting you!:D:rotfl:
Enjoy your canapes. I think sometimes lots of social stuff comes all at once and we just have to take the hit and then get back on the horse afterwards. It's all about fitting SW in with your lifestyle long term.
Hope they do have some salads at the buffet ruby.:)
I haven't got any magic answers abut fishy smells greentiger. I find baking fish in foil rather than poaching and getting the packaging out to the bin ASAP helps a bit.
I think I'm out again this evening. I've got a meeting and colleagues usually adjourn somewhere afterwards to eat. If not I'll come home and have something indulgent like egg and chips:drool:.
Today's menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast
L: ham, cottage cheese, tomato, beetroot and anything else SW friendly I can scavenge from the fridgetba
