I was having Emma as deluded daughter. And sorry I forgot the romance angle - maybe OP falls for the handsome solicitor !!! knight in shining armour who sorts everything out for her instead? Sorry OP, we've airbrushed your OH out. In my version everything is set up for a spin off sitcom focussing on demented dad and downtrodden daughter. A sort of Some Mothers do have 'em for the 21st century.
Edited to add that I did not put a naughty word in there, I put a perfectly good 3 letter Latin one and mse is being over sensitive.
Ohhh noooo, no romance angle - yuk! OP has a lovely OH who has been on tap with gin through this we can't ditch him (i'm thinking Daniel Craig for him btw?) Perhaps Liam Neeson as the father, bit menacing - think he could pull it off. Or one of the Marley and Marley puppets from Muppets Christmas Carol :rotfl:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

This is making me giggle because the husband has been told he looks like Daniel Craig before!
Guys, is it twisted that I'm actually a bit disappointed that we're now four days past the move and news of not one further demand has reached me yet?! I was almost looking forward to it!!! We went quite near the old house today (to the tip - joys of moving) and the husband really wanted to do a drive by but I was too scared ...0 -
Please don't spoil it, Hoploz, I will get to it.
No spoilers from me Smodlet, just do it on a day you've nothing else planned!
Oh Lichfield I'm so glad you're still in good humour! We are all willing you to hear from them but we are of course very pleased you haven't. It feels like there's been a new group of friends here on this thread, and it's all over0 -
We need to think of a way to poke the hornets nest....:A:D0

Nope.....I think it's down to "let sleeping dogs lie" myself.
Seems like a good motto to me to follow that - and then it works all the better if T'Other Side gets up to summat they shouldnt and you then dish out a quick/sharp whack if need be.
With age cometh wisdom - hopefully.....:cool:0 -
