Morning folks
Been busy with work and some stupid late shifts.
Daily stuff has been done
Dead mouse cleared up, cat was very pleased with himself!
On late today, was going to car boot this morning, but it is sort of drizzling so going to hoover round instead!
ATB, you can appeal a copr tax bill, the bill as you know is base on bottom line profit, you need to carry on doing what you do, but 'remove' some of the profitYour accountant should be advising you how to do this, if not pm me, and I have plenty of legal ways or suggestions.

Thank you Kaz, I will PM you tomorrow xx
Morning all,
Sunny here and we are meant to be having a day out so hope it lasts. DH got home from work yesterday and promptly started doing lots of little DIY jobs (most unlike him) so some niggling bits are off the list.
I need to nip to the Post Office and charity shop this morning, and put a wash on. I also want to treat myself to an orchid for the kitchen window, my last house plant died and the pot looks sad and lonely with nothing in!
Big hugs all round xxxxMFW

Good morning!
Nice and peaceful here. One wash already out drying and WM going again with towels. Want to wash DS trainers next on the quickwash.
DD is going to ballet and FIL is coming over so I will go grocery shopping  on a Saturday morning!
More camping stuff has been put away - suitcase needs to go upstairs and ultimately into the loft once I've sorted contents.
Have also had my planner out and updated our next week, added my to-do list for bits and bobs and what's needed for DD party. Can't believe she's 6 next weekend!
Narc0 I finished that mindfulness course - I struggle to find the time for meditation but I have found I can centre myself quite quickly if I'm getting frustrated or anxious. I've since done one on nutrition (nothing new really) and just started one on managing personal investments (!) as I wanted to keep my study routine between college courses.
Enjoy your window exercise, Jazee xx
Hope you all have a nice dayBossymoo

Morning all
I decided to do the shredding yesterday while I finished lunch. Next thing I knew it was nearly 5pm  But the shredding pile is cleared for now for the first time this year.
I've woken up this morning with a lump on my jaw again so I'm trying to get through to the dentists as I suspect it's another infection caused by a leaking filling based on past experience. I've already lost 2 teeth as they were beyond having root canals by the time the infection had gone. It always happens on a bank holiday weekend as well
Not sure what today will entail, depends on whether I can get in to see a dentist or not. Grocery shopping is definitely needed as we're out of the basics now we've had breakfast. I have no idea how that's happened but it has.
Off to get sorted in case I manage to get through and they say come down now. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Is multi-tasking when you have sixteen different things on the go at once, none of which are finished, all of which are nagging you to get them done and the place looks like a tip because they're all scattered around every surface? We are planning to get some company for LittleyDog, very exciting.
So exciting! A new FlyDog? Puppy or rescue? We need to be told, I think.
Kelpie trotted around the block, things tidied, back to lavendar bags. A kilo of lavendar takes a lot of dealing with. Anyone want any? We're going to end up with dozens and dozens and much as I like the nif we don't need that much. I'm not a brilliant seamstress but they'll deter moths and if you like the smell of lavendar they're just the ticket.Better is good enough.0 -
HB, new flydog will be a puppy as rescue dogs kept falling through or the centre wanted to retain ownership and it all got confusing. A shame really, but a puppy it is. Same breed as LittleyDog (Westie). I had said I wouldn't get one again because of the skin problems, but everything else about her is fab so there you go. And they don't all get skin problems. And I know how to deal with/prevent it now anyway.
I have taken DH to work, walked LittleyDog, changed the bedding which is now on the line, planted hundreds of seeds and cut the grass back and front.
Off soon to make a show of myself. But it is for charity.
Just read back, if my headmaster could see this post with sentences starting with 'and' and 'but' he'd turn in his grave.
Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Dentists is shut today despite the website saying they're open  I've just spent some time looking up home remedies before I go to the shops so I can make sure I have stuff in and I'll pick up more painkillers as well. First thing Tuesday morning I'll be on the phone to them.
Time for me to find something to eat before I go to the shop then I need to work. I completely forgot I still had books to put out for work:o:o

Mr LW sat and nodded off at the pc again and I'm afraid he got told rather sharply "If you're finished with it, turn it off, and go clean something!"If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Afternoon all, hope everyone is as well as can be.
Jazee enjoy your new flypup
