You've just making it up as you go along now. I suspect you have little chance of capitalizing on any downturn as you appear rather dim.

I'm not a troll. You play the game - win or lose that's life.

Were the guys in the big short trolls? They played the game and won.

And true to form a lot of them have showed up on this thread. Just to remind the world how little they care.

I believe in austerity. As when I go to work I can identify the waste. The inefficiencies, the lack of productivity. In my latter years I now save money for the taxpayer. Words are cheap. Action is priceless. :)

I'm dim??? I will have to hand back my two engineering degrees. You make more money on downturns. What's wrong with that. Ive pulled my money out of the stock market last week and hoping for the turn.

I like how people revert to insults when they don't like hearing the truth. Economies cannot escape downturns forever. Downturns normally follow a pi cycle. The central bankers are playing the game.

Nobody has said economies don't go through downturns. People are offended that you say things like "the poor will make you richer". And then make out you're some Warren Buffett.

I voted to leave and actively campaigned with the Vote Leave group. I see the next economic downturn (hopefully soon) as a opportunity to make money. The poor will make you richer. I know it's sounds wrong but that's how the rich get richer. You have no choice but to jump on the misery of others. It's survival of the fittest at the end of the day. The lefties would do the same thing when provided with the opportunity.

Selfish or what. Yes it sounds wrong. I voted remain and don't think the Brexiters are going to get what they want anyway. If people voted for BRexit for same reasons you did - ie to make money yes they should be ashamed. My investments are actually up and financially we won't suffer but to actively hope this leads to misery for the poor - words fail me.

Couldn't have said it much better. This misguided view that somehow he's some type of Robin Hood who will break the fortunes of the rich elitists and give the poor, working class a chance to progress. Whereas in reality, all he's done is kicked the latter further down into the ground whilst the wealthy get wealthier.

Not that there is anything wrong whatsoever with wealth.

The poor do make the rich richer every second of the day, that's how our credit system works (google it). Why would I be ashamed of a predicted downturn? It's going to arrive someday and you may as well take advantage of it.

Most of the world's poor have no access to credit.
