Don't any of the commercial GPS units with updates do this? My last 2 TomToms have warned about fixed cameras.
Or you can get one of those detectors.0 -

Waze will warn of speed cameras and red light cameras.
My old Garmin used to also warn you went you entered an arear in which mobile speed cameras were often deployed.Never Knowingly Understood.

I once test drove a Mercedes that had a front-facing camera that read speed signs and displayed the speed on the dash. I thought that was a great idea (although having it then linked to the speed limiter would've been better).
Unfortunately, speeding has become socially acceptable and even the police/courts don't really care that much about speeders anymore.0 -

So the car can read signs, and then put the sign on the dashboard. Handy.
Or, and this is just a thought, you could use your own eyes and read the signs in their original form, and then moderate your speed to suit... then you don't need to stare at the dashboard quite so much.
Believe me, having not long been stopped and paid a £100 fine for it, the police very much do still care about speeding.0 -

I was posting more in reply to the people noting that they are sometimes confused with the changing limits on a give road and can forget what speed they should be doing.
Personally, I don't speed so have never been stopped and had to pay a £100 fine. But thanks for your advice.0 -
