Google Maps cameras.

Hello!
I use Google maps to navigate. But it there a way to get notified when an actual real speed camera is in the next kilometer or something?
I would also like to get notified upfront when there is a speed camera in my calculated route, because I may close the navigation earlier.
thanks!

The implcation is that the OP intends to speed unless the is a camera ahead.
His post sounds like an invitation to conspire to commit a criminal offence.0 -
He's had an identical thread before

Surely an app that reminds you of the speed limit on any particular road would be more useful, stick to the limit and you don't need to k ow where cameras areI hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0

I would say good luck to that method of avoiding speed cameras.
In our area a police motorcycle pulls up in a gateway gets a tripod out & sets up a camera....all in about 5 minutes.
No mapping system is going to cope with that !!

Tripod? He can use a hand-held speed meter. Less than a minute!0 -

This is presumably to get away from the authorities to whom the OP owes all his tax (another bizarre thread on another Board for reference)0 -

Not really, you have to remember (and OP does appear to be of foreign origin) that not everyone understands our complex system of road markings and signage, which even most Brits can't seem to understand (especially "merge in turn").
Combine this with certain roads in certain parts of the country, where the road and signage has been made deliberately misleading to trap motorists into unknowingly speeding and I can't blame anyone for asking this question.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Although I agree sometimes signage can be confusing, but in that case what the motorist needs is something to inform them of the correct speed limit for any given stretch of road. There is no need to know the location of safety/speed cameras.0
